Okay, so this is HUGE! IO Interactive is teaming up with Eminem for a limited-time event in HITMAN World of Assassination. From December 1st to 31st, you’ll actually be able to take on Eminem – and his Slim Shady persona – as an Elusive Target. Seriously, it’s going to be insane trying to take down the Rap God in this game!

Hitman World of Assassination is adding a unique challenge: you’ll be able to ‘hunt’ both Eminem and his iconic alter ego, Slim Shady. As someone who grew up playing Hitman, seeing this collaboration is surprisingly nostalgic and really exciting!

Hitman World of Assassination is a stealth-action game that came out recently. It combines the content from HITMAN 1, 2, and 3 into a single, complete experience. Players can enjoy various modes, including Contracts, Escalation, and the newly added Elusive Target.

In the game’s story, Em has been trying to suppress his other personality, but it keeps resurfacing, so he hired someone to eliminate it permanently. This new Elusive Target mission takes place in a distorted version of the Hokkaido medical facility, called Popsomp Hills Asylum, and offers players many different ways to complete the contract.

With Eminem recently wrapping up the story of his alter ego, Slim Shady, in his new album, this collaboration feels particularly significant. It’s fitting that Agent 47 is facing the final chapter of a character who’s always been hard to get rid of. I’m excited to track down Slim Shady in various locations within the Asylum, including his broadcasting studio.

As a huge Em fan, I’m really excited about this! It’s cool to see doctors, patients, and performers all involved, but what really gets me is how he’s weaving in stuff from throughout his whole career. Like, the Mom’s Spaghetti reference with the poisoned plate? Genius! And seeing him perform Houdini was awesome. Honestly, I think this is going to be even better than the Bruce Lee collaboration – and I loved that one!
