Hitman World of Assassination Welcomes Jean-Claude Van Damme as its Next Elusive Target

As a seasoned gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I can confidently say that the latest announcement from IO Interactive has sent shivers down my spine! The addition of Jean-Claude Van Damme as an Elusive Target in Hitman: World of Assassination is nothing short of extraordinary.

As a dedicated fan, I’m thrilled to share that I’ve learned from IO Interactive that the legendary Jean-Claude Van Damme will be the upcoming Elusive Target in the Hitman World of Assassination trilogy! This time around, he plays a former ICA operative who was thought to be deceased, only to reappear and seize control of an ICA data storage facility. Can’t wait to see how I’ll take him down!

In the upcoming “The Splitter” mission, Jean-Claude Van Damme (JCVD) will provide his voice and appearance for a character named Max Valliant. This enigmatic individual has a questionable intent, making him a dangerous adversary. Beginning from next week, players can engage with Valliant as the Elusive Target, using the complimentary Starter Pack to access the mission.

As a gamer, I’ve got to say, Max Valliant is quite the charismatic character, oozing action movie baddie vibes. He’s relentless, and yes, he can pull off a mean split! Jean-Claude Van Damme made that observation. The Splitter mission is a rollercoaster ride, just like any good action movie. There will be some unexpected twists, but I’ll leave the fun of discovery up to you, Hitman players.

In the video game Hitman, the mission titled Splitter will take place in the Chongqing level. Your objective as Agent 47 will be to accompany an ICA board member inside the facility, reveal Valliant’s devious plan, and, without a doubt, eliminate Jean-Claude Van Damme’s character using whatever methods you deem appropriate.

In addition, you will have the option to buy ‘The Splitter Pack’ priced at $4.99/£3.99/€4.99, granting you permanent ownership of ‘The Replication’, an intriguing two-level Arcade mission with Max Valliant as the goal, The Splitter SMG and Kukri Knife, the ‘Good Quar Vol. 3’ VHS Tape, and a collection of cosmetics for your Freelancer Safehouse inspired by ‘The Splitter’.

From December 12th, 2024 to January 12th, 2025, the Splitter mission will be playable in the Hitman World of Assassination series on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, and PC platforms. Additionally, a fresh content plan is scheduled to start during this period, which includes three new challenges, new Featured Contracts, returning Elusive Targets, a new Twitch Drop, and various other exciting features.
