IO Interactive A/S has revealed that their espionage-themed action-adventure game, HITMAN World of Assassination, will be available on iOS devices this coming Summer 2025. This news was shared during the inaugural IOI Showcase June 2025 Livestream event.

As a devoted fan, I’d describe my experience with Hitman World of Assassination like this: It’s an exhilarating stealth-action adventure that takes me on a globe-trotting journey, merging the thrill of strategy with the depth of a roguelike game. Stepping into the shoes of Agent 47, the legendary assassin, I traverse intricately detailed settings, unravel mysteries, and eliminate targets using my own unique approach for each mission. The freedom to choose my methods is what makes this game truly captivating!

I’m thrilled about the iOS adaptation because it combines the top features from HITMAN 1, 2, and 3 into a single, comprehensive collection. Playing on my PC, I adored the campaigns and modes such as Contracts, Escalation, and more. With this port, we’re soon going to enjoy the entire trilogy on our mobile devices.

No more cloud services will be needed with this native iOS launch

With the new iOS version, you won’t need to rely on cloud gaming for playing the game since it can be played directly on your device. Additionally, I’m excited to delve into its over 20 locations in a visually stunning world filled with intriguing characters and unique ways to accomplish your missions.
