Hit mystery thriller branded “one of the best shows on TV” gets exciting update and fans can’t get enough
The hit mystery-thriller show “From” has received a thrilling update about the upcoming season straight from one of its main actors.
The science fiction series, airing since 2022 on both Epix and MGM+, centers around inhabitants of an American town, where anyone entering is confined, and petrified by monstrous beings lurking within the neighboring woodland.
After getting renewed for its fourth season last year, actress Elizabeth Saunders (who portrays Donna Raines, the leader of Colony House) has recently announced through her Instagram updates that production on upcoming episodes is currently being carried out.

She labeled a selfie as “Off to Town for a spell! 📸 #FromOnMGMTrails”, with the picture showing the words “Lugging too much, short on rest, but raring to go!” written across it.
In the subsequent update, she posted a photo of herself outside her trailer labeled ‘Donna’, captioned: “As if I hadn’t been away at all – back in town!
Enthusiasts were bursting with anticipation upon hearing the news, as one exclaimed: “Yes yes yes, so thrilled!!”, and another echoed: “I’m screaming with joy. Yes, I can hardly wait.
Wow, I’m overjoyed! It’s just fantastic news! Welcome back to our neighborhood!” As for the third, they exclaimed: “Oh my goodness, yes indeed! It seems like a plan is underway, and you’re simply incredible, Donna. I adore you!
The show has received overwhelming praise, achieving an almost perfect rating of 96% on Rotten Tomatoes.
The Anatomy of a Scream Podcast Network praises it as “one of the top-notch TV shows”, stating: “It’s a gripping enigma that consistently heightens the tension. It boasts an exceptional ensemble of characters, who aren’t hesitant to sacrifice themselves when the moment calls for it.
TV Fanatic referred to the series as a “moody, leisurely unfolding mystery that draws you in deeply and keeps you entangled,” while Bloody Disgusting labeled it as “an intriguing and eerie mystery puzzle show.
Last year, during the announcement of the show’s renewal, its creator, John Griffin, commented in a statement that with the completion of Season Three, they had, in essence, arrived at the conclusion of the initial phase.
As we embark on Season Four, I find myself standing at a crossroads, unsure if this path will guide my beloved characters back home or plunge them further into the relentless horror that’s become their reality. I can’t express enough gratitude to our allies at MGM+ for giving us the opportunity to continue this captivating story. Sharing this thrilling news with our incredible FROMily is an honor I can hardly contain!
From airs on MGM+ and NOW.
The debut print issue of Digital Spy’s magazine, titled “British Comedy Legends,” is available! You can purchase it from your local newsstands or online for only £3.99.
