As a die-hard fan, I can’t wait for the upcoming final season, set to premiere on March 26. In this season, my beloved character Jackie finds herself in an intriguing predicament: she discovers a chance to take legal action against the pharmaceutical company believed to be behind Roseanne’s addiction. This revelation stirs up a heartfelt family discussion among us.

Afterward, the Conners decide to engage the services of lawyer Jean, who appears somewhat unscrupulous. However, they later find out that she may struggle with alcohol abuse.

In the upcoming seventh season, Zoe Perry, who portrays Metcalf’s real-life daughter on Young Sheldon, is set to make an appearance as well. Her character will be a police officer that gives Jackie a tough time when she contemplates reentering the police force at her advanced age.

In the upcoming episodes, actor Seth Green – famously known for his role in Buffy the Vampire Slayer – will make an appearance, portraying Chad. This character is a new friend of Darlene’s, currently dealing with the challenges of a separation from his spouse.

Previously, Goodman expressed his amazement about the number of seasons that “The Conners” has had. In 2023, he told France 24 English: “I didn’t expect it to last this long. Initially, we were supposed to run for eight episodes and then call it a day, but they renewed us again and again.

In 2023 as well, The Conners’ producer Bruce Helford revealed that star/executive producer Sara Gilbert played a significant role by advocating for an adequate amount of time to ensure the show could have a fitting farewell.

Sara Gilbert communicated to the network her desire for them to know in advance if they planned to end their series with a finale, so she could prepare an appropriate conclusion. She shared this information with TVLine.

The Conners airs on ABC in the US, and on Sky Comedy in the UK.
