
A six-season comedy is moving to Paramount+, giving the streamer a major boost in that department.
BET+ will be shut down in June, and its shows and movies will move over to Paramount+, following a decision by Paramount Skydance, the new owners of BET.
The comedy series The Ms. Pat Show will now be available on Paramount+ for its sixth season. While originally renewed by BET, the show is moving to the streaming platform as part of a larger change: BET programs will begin streaming on Paramount+ in June.
What Is The Ms. Pat Show About?
The Ms. Pat Show stars comedian Patricia “Ms. Pat” Williams-Lee and centers around her character, Pat Carson, a mother and the head of a large African American family. The show is based on Ms. Pat’s life story, as told in her memoir, Rabbit: The Autobiography of Ms. Pat.
