In Washington Square Park, the 17-year-old had a pleasant conversation with the 62-year-old lead singer of Red Hot Chili Peppers, on an emblematic fountain, reminiscent of a heartwarming father-son talk.
Everly Bear smiled adoringly at his famous dad as they wore similar looks on the outing.
They both wore black pants, shoes, and white t-shirts, while Anthony accessorized with a red trucker hat.
On their joint excursion in New York City, it appeared as though they were both attempting to escape the warmth by purchasing a watermelon.
Everly Bear’s mother is former model Heather Christie whom Anthony dated from 2004 to 2008.
A while back, Anthony shared the origin story behind their unconventional child’s name. He explained this to People magazine by saying: ‘It was the mother who thought up Bear. That seemed fitting to me because he originates from me and I feel connected to bear tribes, and I think it’s charming to have a touch of nature in your name.’

Anthony is the primary caretaker of his son, yet he shares custody with Heather, who prefers a more secluded lifestyle.
In April 2018, Heather filed a lawsuit against Anthony after he attempted to prevent their scheduled visit, alleging that Heather was not a suitable parent.
In the end, the court decided in Heather’s favor; however, Anthony continued to serve as the main caregiver since his son resides with him in Malibu.
It seems likely that Everly Bear may continue in the tradition set by his well-known father, given that he has performed several Red Hot Chili Peppers tunes over the years on stage.
