His dad is an MTV legend who now appears on The Voice while mom worked on Frasier – can you guess the lookalike nepo baby?

As a long-time follower and admirer of Carson Daly’s career, it was truly heartwarming to see him at the MTV VMAs with his son Jackson. The father-son duo looked dapper on the red carpet, and it was evident that Carson was immensely proud to introduce his son to his former workplace.

A former MTV icon brought his mini-me son to the MTV VMAs in New York City.

The TV star looked mighty proud to introduce his son to his former workplace. 

Both men donned suits for the occasion. The older one, aged 51, chose an elegant all-black ensemble, whereas his son stood out in a stylish blue pinstripe suit jacket paired with a black t-shirt and a silver necklace.

The teenager’s hairstyle even mimicked one of his dad’s old looks with his frosted tips.

The father-son duo is former MTV VJ Carson Daly and his son Jackson, 15.

Carson has a family consisting of his son Jackson, along with daughters Etta (age 11), London (age 9), and Goldie (age 4). His partner is Siri Pinter, who is 43 years old.

Pinter is a film and TV producer who worked on the hit sitcom Frasier.  

The Total Request Live alum shared a photo with Jackson from the red carpet on Instagram.

Reflecting on the journey, I can’t help but wonder why it seems like only my neck is visible here! By the way, this is my little buddy Jackson and we’re having an absolute ball, as you can tell by my smile.

On The Today Show, Daly posted a picture along with the caption, “It’s enjoyable spending time with my son… He’s listened to many stories about the VMAs throughout the years.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share a heartwarming moment from my personal life that transpired recently on The Today Show. My son, Jackson, is embarking on an exciting new journey – learning to drive. It’s a significant milestone for both of us and we’re grateful to have our team at The Today Show be a part of it.

Daly mentioned recently to People that his 15-year-old son is now learning to drive, which has made things rather hectic at home.

‘I have a pickup truck, so he drives my truck. It’s going great. He’s a really good driver.’

‘We’re just [doing] little stuff right now,’ he added.

He has a bit of time ahead, considering that in New York, one doesn’t receive their driver’s license until they are seventeen years old, which I find hard to believe. Nevertheless, he is seventeen.

Jackson even got to see his dad take the stage at the VMAs to present the Award for Best K-Pop group. 

Daly told the Today Show it was an ‘honor’ to be presenting at the 40th anniversary of the VMAs.

‘Every day after school I was with your mother, so please, tell her I said hi,’ he joked.
