Hilarie Burton claims a ‘creep chick’ who is ‘obsessed’ with her son Gus, 14, has been stealing his identity

As a lifestyle expert with decades of experience under my belt, I wholeheartedly applaud Hilarie Burton Morgan for her swift and decisive action in addressing this alarming situation. The impersonation of her 14-year-old son Gus on social media platforms like TikTok and YouTube is not only unacceptable but also potentially dangerous.

Hilarie Burton Morgan is making efforts to halt an individual falsely claiming to be her 14-year-old son, Gus, on TikTok and YouTube.

Actor from One Tree Hill, aged 42, shared an Instagram post displaying a problematic TikTok account (@AugustusDeanMorgan) along with a description of recent events in the caption.

Hello everyone, I require some assistance. Here’s the situation: Neither I nor my child possess a TikTok account. However, there’s an unsettling woman who seems fixated on my son and creates profiles on different platforms to do so.

She teased, ‘I understand. He’s fantastic, but it’s strange that she would pretend to be a 14-year-old boy to hide her true identity.’

In my latest post on TikTok, I kindly requested my followers to flag an account in question. I’ve taken steps to address this issue proactively, reaching out not only to the account holder but also to their parents, attempting direct communication. Additionally, I have reported the matter to the appropriate law enforcement authorities for further investigation and action.

‘Because of certain actions she’s taken, she’s broken laws,’ the mom of two added.

Burton, along with her spouse, the renowned actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan (age 58), who is famously known for his role in The Walking Dead, are also parents to a six-year-old girl named George.

Later, Burton amended her post to share that the TikTok account had been taken down. 

She mentioned, “However, it’s connected to a YouTube account, where she was impersonating Gus as well. Her name is now visible on that YouTube account.

Afterward, I spoke directly to her, saying, “I’ve spotted H*****. I’ve contacted the campus police. I’ve also reached out to her mother’s church. Rest assured, I’m taking this matter seriously.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan commented on the post, backing up his wife. 

‘F**kin people. get a life. your own preferably, but for certain, NOT our kids. if not… prepare for morgan wrath, which i promise is not a joke. side note… ITS A COOL FLIP PHONE.’

Online impersonation regulations are relatively modern and differ from one state to another, however, imitating someone else is usually regarded as a punishable act.

According to Burton’s supporters, there was widespread concern expressed that the circumstances were extremely troubling. One individual even stated, ‘Impersonating a child represents an entirely unprecedented degree of madness.’

The post comes just a few days after Burton shared a photos with Jeffrey on Instagram where they were chaperoning one of Gus’ school dances.

‘I had the hottest Homecoming Date at the dance tonight,’ her caption began.
