Hilaria and Alec Baldwin’s Halloween costume with their 7 kids have fans all saying the same thing
As a seasoned film enthusiast with over three decades of immersion in the cinematic world, I find myself deeply conflicted about the upcoming premiere of “Rust” at the EnergaCAMERIMAGE International Cinematography Film Festival. On one hand, I am moved by the desire to honor the life and work of Halyna Hutchins, a talented cinematographer whose career was tragically cut short. However, the circumstances surrounding her death on the set of “Rust” are still fresh in our collective memory, making it difficult to separate the art from the artist in this case.
As an over-the-moon fan, I can’t help but express my thoughts about the enchanting Halloween family costume gallery that Hilaria and Alec Baldwin recently shared! However, it seems like a chorus of voices echoes in agreement with me, as many fellow fans can’t help but notice… something.
As a devoted yogi celebrating four decades of practice, I found myself compelled to express my family’s current journey on Instagram yesterday. The photos and videos I posted showcase my beloved husband, now 66, and our remarkable brood of seven children, who have been an unwavering source of inspiration and strength for me, following the recent distressing news about our son’s injury.
The whole family – Carmen (11 years old), Rafael (9), Leonardo (7), Romeo (6), Eduardo or ‘Edu’ (4), Maria (3), and Ilaria (2) – were all dressed up as Waldo, the character from Where’s Waldo? (or Wally in the UK).
Each of them donned horizontal red and white striped, long-sleeved tees, coordinating beanie hats, and blue trousers.
Hilaria captioned the gallery to her 984K followers: ‘Happy Halloween from the Bald-Waldos to you!’
Instead, many observers pointed out an interesting detail from the post – the eldest sibling, Carmen, was depicted gazing far away.
One user wrote: ‘Carmen looks over it [three laughing while crying emojis] You guys look great!’
Another said: Cute [laughing while crying and heart eyes emojis] she is closing in on the ageof “do we have to?” [two rolling on the floor laughing emojis] Happy Halloween Baldwinitos [wizard, jack o lantern, ghost, half moon, and star-crossed emojis]’
Even though it was recently disclosed that their son Romeo, who is six years old, had a head injury requiring stitches, the family appeared cheerful.
The yogi instructor, aged 40, and mother of seven with the veteran actor, 66 (from Rust), recently shared a picture with one of her sons, disclosing that he had sustained an injury requiring medical attention.
In the snap she cradled her son’s head and wrote: ‘Romeo banged his head…stitches like a champ.
‘Grateful @drchrisfunderburk for making this as painless of an experience as possible.’
She added a poll on the photo captioned: ‘Why do these things always happen on weekends?” with two answers: ‘I know, right?’ and “The universe demons says: happy Sunday!’
The Baldwin clan is presently working on a fresh reality show focusing on their household, which includes their children.
Alec Baldwin, renowned for his role in Glengarry Glen Ross, is also a parent to Ireland Baldwin, aged 27, who was born to his former wife and actress, Kim Basinger.
In the past few weeks, it’s been noticed that the family has been shooting footage with TLC, both within and nearby The Hamptons, New York.
Their new reality series is slated to air on the TLC network sometime in 2025.
Following a request by the prosecutor in the Rust case, a judge is considering the possibility of reopening the manslaughter investigation against Alec, which was initiated following the fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.
Recently, Baldwin was spotted again, with this occurrence taking place only a few weeks following the instance when a district attorney petitioned a New Mexico judge to re-evaluate the dismissal of an involuntary manslaughter charge against Baldwin, which stemmed from the unfortunate incident involving the fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of the Western movie Rust.
In simpler terms, Special Prosecutor Kari Morrissey stated that the July ruling was not supported by enough facts and did not violate Baldwin’s right to fair treatment under the law.
As a lifestyle expert, I’d put it this way: Previously, during the trial in July, Judge Mary Marlowe Sommer decided to dismiss the case against me, owing to an unfortunate circumstance where crucial evidence was withheld from my legal team by the police and prosecutors. This evidence was related to the tragic incident that led to the death of Hutchins.
The dismissal was made with prejudice, preventing the charge from being refiled once any potential appeals are resolved.
On the set of Rust, the main actor and co-producer, Baldwin, was handling a firearm that accidentally discharged during a practice scene. The bullet struck and fatally wounded Hutchins, while also injuring the film’s director, Joel Souza.
30 Rock’s famous actor claimed that he cocked the gun’s hammer, not fired it, yet the revolver still discharged on its own.
The situation centered around some ammo that was delivered to the sheriff’s office in March, which a man asserted could potentially be connected to Hutchins’ demise.
In a twist, prosecutors deemed the bullets unimportant, but Baldwin’s legal team countered by accusing them of hiding this evidence. This allegation resulted in a successful motion to drop the case altogether.
In her plea for a second look, the special prosecutor, Morrissey, contended that the hidden bullets were not significant and instead emphasized Baldwin’s obligation to adhere to firearm safety regulations.
Last month, Baldwin’s legal team slammed the motion, filed on August 30.
According to court documents acquired by People, Morrissey’s legal team stated that he has been misusing or abusing the judicial system.
According to their argument, she consistently breached the State’s duty to disclose information, concealed evidence, testified falsely about it during the trial, and then lied about her reasons for doing so. However, they argue that the State has not provided any new evidence to warrant a reevaluation of the case. Instead, the new details that have surfaced since the trial serve to emphasize the validity and importance of the court’s original ruling.
Baldwin’s legal team argued that the court should uphold the honesty and efficiency of the judiciary, as well as the smooth functioning of justice, by dismissing and rejecting the State’s requests.
Next month, the first showing of Rust will take place at Poland’s EnergaCAMERIMAGE International Cinematography Film Festival.
Additionally, there’ll be a dedicated tribute for Halyna – however, the choice to screen the movie during the major event has faced backlash on social media.
Oscar-nominated cinematographer Rachel Morrison commented on an Instagram post promoting the premiere: ‘I’m all for memorializing Halyna and her beautiful work but not by screening and thereby promoting the film that killed her.’
The confidential WhatsApp group of active cinematographers also expressed disapproval towards the event, labeling it as “inappropriate” and “out-of-touch.
They observed that Hutchins’ family is said to endorse the event, and Alec’s brother, Billy Baldwin, verified this to TMZ.
