High Society Drama: Harriet’s New Love and Dina’s Ex Sparks Frenemy Feud!

There is never a dull moment in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.

Lately, the upper-class circle of the Harbor City has been shocked by two major revelations, triggering a whirlwind of gossip.

To start things off, it was socialite Harriet Williams who became the talk of town, as she excitedly introduced her latest beau in a series of group chats over the weekend.

The kinesiologist made it public on Instagram that she is now in a relationship with Dugald, signifying her reentry into the dating world following her separation from husband Andy El Bayeh last year.

In 2022, Harriet got married to publicist Andy in a dreamy, million-dollar wedding. This magical event took place after the couple had been together for four years.

However, an unexpected separation in August 2024, during a grand European vacation, created ripples of surprise among their tight-knit group of friends.

The reason for their sudden break-up remains unclear. 

Currently, there isn’t much information available on Dugald, yet it seems he has a significant number of friends within Sydney’s social circle.

It’s uncertain when he started dating Harriet, and there’s no indication that their relationship overlapped with her marriage.

Harriet and Andy exchanged their vows at a three-day wedding in the Southern Highlands, held in March 2022 amidst a forest setting. Reports indicate that this grand event cost them approximately one million dollars.

The three-day extravaganza began by welcoming guests at Osborn House, where cocktails were served in its historic halls. The ceremony followed on the Wollumbi Estate grounds, with the couple exchanging vows under a beautiful, scenic forest canopy.

The wedding from the fairy tale, showcased in Vogue Brides magazine, boasted a 20-member orchestra skillfully directed by Dan Fontaine.

Among them were social media sensation Ruby Tuesday Matthews, heiress Nadia Fairfax, television host Renee Bargh, DJ extraordinaire Jordy Burrows, and model-turned-entrepreneur Natasha Oakley. It was an honor to have these influential figures in attendance.

However, it wasn’t just Harriet’s new romance that was buzzing among Totti’s and Mimi’s circles during the weekend; there were other juicy social tidbits being shared as well.

Yes, it was only a matter of time before Kristin Fisher was back on our radar. 

At a wedding in New Zealand on Sunday, the renowned eyebrow specialist from Double Bay, informally known as the “eyebrow queen,” appeared to express surprise upon being seen affectionately with Max Shepherd, a wealthy property developer and socialite, raising a few eyebrows themselves.

Max is primarily recognized as the former romantic partner of Dina Broadhurst, the highly esteemed art collector who has an unusual fear of clothing.

Dina and Max officially called off their four-year romance in mid-2023, but remained friends.

Max’s adorable selfie with Kristin ignited a wave of conversation, as it seemed that Kristin and Dina had reconciled not long ago following their disagreement in early 2024 – supposedly due to a particular gentleman.

The dispute significantly impacted their friend circle, causing the formerly inseparable pair to take considerable measures to skip the same gatherings and social functions.

However, after Dina found herself single once more due to her separation from appliance heir John Winning Jr. in early December, these two individuals managed to set aside their disagreements.

At the wedding of Pilates instructor Bernadette Fahey and property developer Jordan Sukkar, held at the society event, they appeared as if long-time acquaintances.

However, it remains to be seen if the ‘frenemies’ are back to being just enemies. 

It seems that Dina has apparently rekindled her relationship with John Jr. This appears to have prompted Kristin to express interest in Max, as she was seen putting her arm around him for a playful selfie and adding a somewhat intriguing caption to the photo.

‘Never not travelling to NZ without @mrshepo,’ Kristin gushed.

Last year, Dina made her romantic journey with John Jr. public in May, as they shared a picture from their enchanting vacation in New Zealand.

We aren’t implying that John Jr. was the reason for the disagreement between the two women, nor that Dina is getting close to Max due to vengeance. However, it sure is an interesting coincidence!

As for Max, his recent relationship history has been rather tumultuous.

Following their separation in June 2023, after nearly five years as a couple, he traveled to Europe to heal his heartache by enjoying time aboard several opulent yachts.

Subsequently, he relocated to the United States and started seeing Vail Bloom, a well-known American actress who previously appeared on the reality series Vanderpump Rules.

However, the romance crumbled when he went back to Australia to assist Dina in selling their long-held Darling Point flat, a property they had struggled to sell for quite some time.

It seems that during their breaks from meeting with potential buyers and real estate agents, they managed to sneak in a swim at Kutti Beach. At one point, Dina removed her bikini top while Max was present, and our photographers happened to be on hand to document the entire incident.

Despite their claims of innocence, Vail’s anger persisted unabated. Their bond managed to hang on for a short while longer, but eventually, they decided to part ways.
