Rumer Willis shared some uncommon insights about her renowned father Bruce Willis’s health during her visit to Loose Women on Monday.

Legendary figure Bruce has recently received a diagnosis of Frontotemporal Dementia and Aphasia, a condition that often impacts one’s ability to communicate effectively, particularly in terms of speech.

36-year-old Rumer updated ITV viewers by saying that Bruce Willis, who is 69, is in good health following a period where the family has come together and strengthened their bond.

To panelists Kaye Adams and Judi Love, Rumer expressed that he is thriving. She mentioned, understandably, given the situation in California, everyone seems to be most concerned about the fires and ensuring everyone’s safety.

Since we’re such a tight-knit family, it’s truly heartwarming to see us come together in times of need. It’s just wonderful because we genuinely function as one entity.

The elder daughter of Demi Moore, who is also an actress, spoke about what she’s particularly thankful for following her parents’ separation.

She added: ‘What I appreciate the most is how, despite their separation, they established an extraordinary emphasis on prioritizing my siblings and me, ensuring neither had to pick sides nor engage in competition.’

‘We were, and remain a close-knit family, regardless of circumstances. The strong family bond I experienced has given me a solid base to build my own family on. Moreover, this sense of gratitude extends to how they’ve served as role models in my journey of co-parenting today.’

Speaking about her past, she shared: ‘During my upbringing, the internet was rapidly expanding. With the surge of celebrity bloggers often criticizing others, and dealing with an awkward period in the public spotlight while figuring out who I am, it’s been quite tough. It has undoubtedly taught me valuable lessons.’

Bruce and Demi were wed from 1987 to 2000 yet still maintain an amicable relationship.

As a pair, these iconic figures of Hollywood had the joy of raising three daughters – Rumer (age 36), Scout (age 33), and Tallulah (age 30).

In February 2023, it was disclosed by Bruce’s loved ones that he had been diagnosed with Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD), which led to his retirement from acting due to issues with speech and understanding language, known as aphasia.

Since then, the Hollywood icon has been showered with love and unwavering support from his family.

Last week, Demi was confirmed as the epitome of stylish grandmotherhood when she spent time with her 20-month-old granddaughter Lou in snowy Idaho.

Instead of saying “The Substance star took to Instagram to upload sweet images and videos of herself enjoying the winter weather with her only grandchild,” you could rephrase it as: “The celebrity known as ‘Substance’ shared delightful pictures and videos on Instagram, capturing moments where she was having fun in the winter season with her one and only grandchild.

Demi wrapped herself snugly in a stylish black padded coat from The North Face, wore designer shades, a beanie, and winter footwear, all while keeping a watchful eye on her toddler.

Rumer’s daughter, Lou (daughter of Derek Richard Thomas), appeared incredibly adorable while wearing a camouflage-patterned snowsuit.

The little one also had on brown mittens and a matching beanie.

Demi posted about spending snowy days with Lou, a message seen by over 5.6 million of her followers.)
