According to reports, football star Cristiano Ronaldo is said to have both produced and funded two action movies in collaboration with director and producer Matthew Vaughn.
The athlete, who is a footballer, revealed that he and Vaughn have established “UR•MARV”, a unique collaboration between movie production and sports. According to them, they have already produced two movies jointly and are currently developing a third.
Despite the lack of specifics regarding the plot, hints have been given that the upcoming films might feature groundbreaking technology, while also paying homage to traditional methods.
Through a tweet on their official account, it was revealed by Cristiano Ronaldo that he’s partnering up with Matthew Vaughn, as they share a common passion for compelling narratives in the realm of films and sports.
Both are pioneers who’ve caused disruption in their respective fields. Now, they are merging sports and storytelling by introducing UR•MARV, a unique film studio that is a joint venture, independent in nature. This innovative studio, respecting tradition, will utilize advanced technology for storytelling.
Using UR•MARV, Ronaldo and Vaughn have jointly funded and created two sequels for an action film series. Now they’re ready to begin work on the third installment, with plans to announce its premiere date shortly.

Speaking about Cristiano Ronaldo, whose fame comes from his work in the “Kingsman” series and “X-Men,” Vaughn stated: “Cristiano has crafted stories on the soccer field that I could never have dreamed up, and I’m eager to collaborate with him on films that will inspire – truly, he is a real-life superhero.
Although Ronaldo is embarking on his initial film production project, he has previously been featured in numerous films, such as the 2015 documentary “Ronaldo” and the 2017 movie titled “Ronaldo vs Messi: Head to Head“.
In addition, he was featured in the 2014 film “Cristiano Ronaldo: The World Beneath My Cleats,” which had Benedict Cumberbatch as its narrator.
