Hero’s Hand Combines Poker and Dungeon-Crawling Roguelike Adventure in 2026
Villain Games has revealed that their innovative game, a fusion of roguelike RPGs and puzzle-solving mechanics inspired by poker and Dungeons & Dragons, titled “Hero’s Hand“, is set to launch on consoles and PCs in the upcoming year.
Adventure through beautifully crafted, hand-drawn settings in Hero’s Hand as you set out on a mission to collect cards to create a powerful poker hand, upgrade your character, gather items, and become stronger with each attempt, all while defeating mythical foes.
In the shrouded realm of Cardunia, you’ll be tasked with uncovering its secrets and defeating the wicked, making new allies, discovering long-lost artifacts, practicing magic, concocting potions, and experiencing numerous setbacks – often falling in battle – as you prepare to confront the Dark Wizard.
Eight uniquely themed worlds with procedurally-generated levels await on your journey to Death’s Tower, as you build a hand to form flushes, straights, or four-of-a-kind combos to deal damage. Hero’s Hand launches for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC in 2026.
