The Asian Champions League 2025, hosted by Hero ESPORTS, has officially been unveiled. Details about Honor of Kings, one of the games highlighted in this tournament, have also been disclosed. Spectators can look forward to watching elite esports teams engage in thrilling battles throughout the competition.

As a dedicated gamer, I’m thrilled to share that the Hero Esports Asian Champions League (ACL 2025) is something I can’t wait for! This tournament will showcase between seven and ten championship titles. It’s not just any ordinary competition; it’s actually part of the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2025 qualification series. The team that emerges victorious in ACL 2025 will secure a spot at the Honor of Kings Invitational Midseason 2025. It’s an exciting journey ahead, and I can’t wait to see who will rise to the top!

ACL 2025 Honor of Kings: Schedule and Format

The event is divided into two parts: Qualifiers and Elimination Rounds. The initial phase, known as Qualifiers, begins on the 5th of May 2025. It lasts until the 13th of May, with matches taking place exclusively on the 5th, 6th, and 13th. This stage consists of three rounds, and in the first round, games will be played as a Best-of-Three series.

For the following two matches, the second and third ones, will be best-of-five (Bo5) and best-of-seven (Bo7) series respectively. The victors from these games will move on to the next phase.

Starting on May 14th, and lasting for three straight days until May 16th, we have the beginning of the elimination round, known as the Knockout stage. Now, fast forward to May 18th, 2025, where the Grand Finals of this exciting event will kick off. The victors from the qualifiers in the previous phase will team up with teams that placed 2nd through 5th in KPL Spring 2025. Interestingly, the runner-up of this event gets a pass straight to the Grand Final. This stage follows a Best-of-7 (BO7) format, where matches are played in Single Elimination mode.

Participant teams

Twelve competitors will battle it out for the title of champion and a substantial portion of the reward purse. Yet, the teams will proceed through a two-tiered involvement process, with some qualifying directly for the Knockout Round. The rest will need to navigate their way through the Qualifier Stage first.

The competitors will be chosen from the King’s Power League Spring 2025. In the knockout phase, the second to fifth-ranked teams will participate, and eight teams will compete in the qualifying round. As of now, the participating teams have not been determined yet.

Prize Pool

As an excited fan, I can’t help but share the thrill about an upcoming event boasting a staggering total prize pool of $2,000,000! Among this grand sum, Honor of Kings will contribute an impressive $200,000 to the winning teams. What’s more, the victorious team in this event will earn themselves a coveted direct berth at the Invitational Midseason 2025, held in Saudi Arabia, where they’ll share the stage with the EWC 2025!

As a keen follower, I can’t disclose the specific portion each competitor will receive just yet, but rest assured, as soon as the details are made available, I’ll be sure to share the updated distribution right here.
