Here's who went home on Big Brother season 26 tonight (Episode 5)

As a dedicated gamer and longtime fan of Big Brother, I have witnessed countless twists, turns, and shocking evictions throughout the years. This week’s episode was no exception, as Angela Murray, our first HOH of season 26, put three houseguests on the chopping block.

Angela Murray, our initial Head of Household in Big Brother season 26 for this term, targeted Kimo Apaka, Kenney Kelley, and Lisa Weintraub with criticisms this week. However, Lisa managed to save herself by winning the Power of Veto, forcing Angela to nominate Matt Hardeman instead.

Warning: This article contains spoilers! Head to CBS On-Demand or Paramount+ to watch Big Brother.

In the first live elimination event of the season, Kimo, Kenney, and Matt went head-to-head in the inaugural AI Arena competition named “Glitch in the System.” The challenge demanded each contestant to commit to memory sixteen distinct videos, with the houseguest whose answer was submitted fastest being crowned the winner and rescued from nomination.

In the end, Kimo emerged as the lucky guest who triumphed in the AI Arena contest and escaped elimination, thus becoming this week’s sole survivor. Conversely, Matt and Kenney found themselves as the last two houseguests facing eviction. However, just one of them will get to reenter the Big Brother house with pride intact, while the other will be forced to leave the competition for season 26, bringing an end to their quest for the $750,000 grand prize.

Here’s who the houseguest who America had to say goodbye to first!

Matt is the first evicted houseguest of Big Brother season 26

With a count of 8 votes against him, compared to 3 in favor, Matt got evicted from the house despite his valiant efforts to save himself.

Here’s how the house voted (excluding Angela Murray, Chelsie Baham, and Cedric Hodges):
