According to reports, the first trailer for Avengers: Doomsday will be shown in cinemas before screenings of Avatar: Fire and Ash. Rumors have been circulating online about the trailer playing alongside the new Avatar movie, and Collider says they’ve confirmed this with several sources.
Filming for the new Avengers movie finished on September 19th, and the movie will be directed by Joe and Anthony Russo. This is their second time directing an Avengers film, following the 2019 blockbuster Avengers: Endgame, which wrapped up the Infinity Saga. Avengers: Doomsday is set to bring back many beloved Marvel characters from different teams, including the Fantastic Four and the X-Men. With rumors of a multiversal storyline, fans are eager to see how the next Avengers adventure will unfold.
Avengers: Doomsday will release on Dec. 18, 2026. Avatar: Fire and Ash hits theaters on Dec. 19, 2025.
