Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist

Release date: Sept. 5

I can’t wait for “Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist,” Peacock’s exclusive new drama in September 2024, as the stellar cast lineup has me really looking forward to it! With the incredibly talented Taraji P. Henson teaming up with Kevin Hart, Samuel L. Jackson, Don Cheadle, and Terrence Howard, this is one show you won’t want to miss!

The first three episodes of the series are set to debut on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2024. Going forward, one new installment will then be released weekly on Thursdays. There’s a total of 8 episodes. Check out the official synopsis below:

Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist, based on the acclaimed iHeart true-crime podcast, follows the infamous story of how an armed robbery on the night of Muhammad Ali’s historic 1970 comeback fight changed not only one man’s life but ultimately transformed Atlanta into the “Black Mecca.” When a hustler named Chicken Man (Kevin Hart) hosts an afterparty to celebrate the fight with a guest list of the country’s wealthiest, the night ends with the most brazen criminal underworld heist in Atlanta’s history. Suspected of masterminding the crime, Chicken Man is hellbent on clearing his name but must convince his old adversary, J.D. Hudson (Don Cheadle), one of the first Black detectives in the city’s desegregated police force, who is tasked with bringing those responsible to justice.

Colin Jost and Michael Che Present: New York After Dark

Release date: Sept. 12

Among the most delightful aspects of Saturday Night Live lies undeniably in the Weekend Update segment featuring Colin Jost and Michael Che. Their humor is simply infectious, and their act as pretend co-anchors adds an extra layer of amusement. Therefore, any additional moments spent with these two comedians are truly a pleasure for viewers like us! Interestingly, Jost and Che will be stepping away from the SNL stage momentarily to bring us a comedy special airing on Peacock.

As of now, details about “Colin Jost and Michael Che Present: New York After Dark” remain scarce. We’ll have to tune in on September 12 when it airs on Peacock to discover its theme and the jokes these two hosts will share. Frankly, I don’t need to know more. Whatever they have planned, I’m already hooked! In fact, Che himself announced this news on Instagram a while ago. Take a look at his post below!
