The world of *Ocean’s Eleven* is getting bigger. In addition to the original films starring George Clooney – *Ocean’s Eleven* (2001), *Ocean’s Twelve* (2004), and *Ocean’s Thirteen* (2007) – and the spin-off *Ocean’s Eight* (2018), two new *Ocean’s* movies are currently in development.

George Clooney has confirmed that a new *Ocean’s* movie, *Ocean’s Fourteen*, is in the works as a direct continuation of the popular films from the 2000s. He told *E! News* that Warner Brothers has approved the budget and the team is now working on scheduling, with filming expected to begin in roughly 9 to 10 months.

When asked about reuniting with his friends for a project, Clooney said he was enthusiastic. He mentioned Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Don Cheadle, and Julia Roberts, adding that he’d recently had dinner with Roberts. He emphasized that they all remain close friends and that working together again would be enjoyable.

Many of the original actors have said they’d be interested in making another movie. In a 2024 interview with *Screen Rant*, Matt Damon explained that a sequel would depend on getting the entire cast back together and having a strong script.

I’m so excited about the second movie! Apparently, it’s going to be a prequel to *Ocean’s Eleven*, and Bradley Cooper and Margot Robbie are already confirmed to be in it – I read about it over at *Variety*.

Lee Isaac Chung, the director of the 2024 film *Twisters*, will be directing the new project. While specific information about the movie is still scarce, Carrie Solomon is writing the script.

Margot Robbie first became involved with the project in 2022 and will produce the film through her company, LuckyChap Entertainment, which she co-owns with Tom Ackerley and Sophia Kerr. Last year, her representative told *People* magazine that the movie is a new *Ocean’s* story taking place in the 1960s.

Originally, Ryan Gosling was going to star with Margot Robbie, playing the parents of Danny Ocean (George Clooney’s character). However, it seems Bradley Cooper may now be taking Gosling’s place.
