This radical group aims to continue the chaos and violence beyond the usual night of the Purge, even though it has passed.

As a gamer, I’m part of an eclectic group that includes Ana de la Reguera, Tenoch Huerta, Cassidy Freeman, Leven Rambin, Josh Lucas, Will Patton, and several other talented players in this virtual world we’re immersed in.

Insidious: Chapter 2 (2013)

The ensemble cast includes Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, Lin Shaye, Ty Simpkins, Barbara Hershey, among others. In simple terms, Chapter 2 of Insidious picks up where the original film left off, following the Lambert family as they deal with Josh’s transformation and attempt to free him from a malevolent spirit by enlisting the help of Elise Rainier and her team.

Mama (2013)

Peacock release date: Sept. 1, 2024

The movie titled “Mama” is a supernatural horror production that centers around two sisters, Victoria and Lily, who went missing for five long years before being discovered in a secluded forest cabin. Throughout those years, they were nurtured by an enigmatic figure known as “Mama.” Upon their rescue, they are welcomed into the home of their uncle Lucas and his partner Annabel, who strive to provide them with a conventional lifestyle. However, their hopes for normalcy are shattered when it is disclosed that “Mama” is a vengeful spirit who has trailed Victoria and Lily to their new abode.

Having spent years immersed in the world of entertainment, I can confidently say that the cast for this upcoming movie is a powerhouse of talent. With Jessica Chastain, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Megan Charpentier, Isabelle Nélisse, and Daniel Kash on board, this production promises to be nothing short of extraordinary. From my perspective, these actors have each demonstrated their abilities time and again in their respective careers, and I’m eager to see what they bring to the table in this film. Their collective experience and skill set will undoubtedly result in a captivating and memorable performance that will leave audiences on the edge of their seats. I can’t wait to witness the magic that these talented individuals will create together.

The Mouse Trap (2024)

As a thrilled fan, I can’t contain my excitement as “The Mouse Trap” is set to premiere on Peacock this October! This chilling comedy revolves around a group of us hanging out at an amusement park arcade, only to find ourselves in a terrifying situation when a maniacal masked killer, dressed like Mickey Mouse, starts hunting us down. Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 (2024)

Peacock release date: Oct. 1, 2024

As a longtime fan of classic children’s literature, I was initially taken aback by the concept of “Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2.” Having grown up with the gentle tales of Winnie-the-Pooh and his friends in the Hundred Acre Wood, it seems almost surreal to imagine this beloved character as a bloodthirsty killer. However, having spent many years working in the horror genre, I can appreciate the creativity and audacity of such a reimagining. As a horror enthusiast, I’m always eager for fresh takes on familiar stories, and this sequel certainly fits that bill. The star-studded cast is another draw, with familiar faces like Scott Chambers, Tallulah Evans, Ryan Oliva, Teresa Banham, Peter DeSouza-Feighoney, Alec Newman, and Simon Callow all bringing their talents to the table. I’m intrigued by this dark twist on a beloved classic, and I can’t wait to see how it unfolds when “Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2” premieres this October on Peacock.

Hysteria! (2024)

Peacock release date: Oct. 18, 2024

As a child of the ’80s myself, I can’t help but feel a rush of nostalgia when I hear about the upcoming Peacock original series “Hysteria!” set in that era. Having been a fan of heavy metal music and the occasional foray into the supernatural, I find this premise incredibly intriguing. The idea of high school outcasts using their passion for heavy metal to capitalize on occult activity is both relatable and captivating. However, the twist with the ensuing murders, kidnappings, and supernatural activity taking place in their town, causing a witch hunt that points back to them, adds an edge-of-your-seat suspense factor that I can’t wait to see unfold. As someone who has always had a soft spot for shows with a touch of the supernatural, I believe this series will be a must-watch for fans of the genre and anyone who enjoys a good mystery.

The principal cast consists of Julie Bowen, Anna Camp, Emjay Anthony, Chiara Aurelia, Kezii Curtis, and Nikki Hahn.

Will you be watching any of these horror movies or shows on Peacock this spooky season?
