Together spoilers follow.
In the movie “Together,” there are numerous surprising instances, but the scene that’s most likely to be remembered is the one featuring the Spice Girls.
Just as Saltburn transformed your perspective of “Murder on the Dancefloor” for good, Together ensures that listening to a Spice Girls classic will never be the same ordinary experience again.
In the UK, after the much-anticipated horror movie was released in cinemas, Digital Spy had a chat with Alison Brie and Dave Franco about the intriguing music selection that enhanced the thrilling finale of the movie “Together”.
There are spoilers ahead, so don’t read on if you haven’t seen the movie yet.

At the conclusion, it’s Tim (Franco) who is on the verge of giving up his life to protect Millie (Brie), as they discover no means to prevent their bodies from merging inexorably.
First, Tim needs to consent to join his arm with Millie in order to prevent her from dying due to a severe injury caused by Jamie (Damon Herriman). Afterward, they both conclude that their sole option is to embrace their situation and merge into a single individual.
In my gaming world, I kick off the experience by selecting our favorite tune, ‘2 Become 1’ by the Spice Girls, setting the mood just right. We glide across the virtual landscape, our avatars twirling in a slow dance as we begin to merge and blend together.
In the film, their selection of “2 Become 1” from the Spice Girls’ album “Spice” seems almost inevitable, given that we previously discover their mutual fondness for that very same album earlier in the movie.
To incorporate it into the film, Brie and Franco – both producers and stars of the movie – needed to invest some hard work, which ended up taking quite a while.

According to Brie, it was necessary to obtain approval from each of the Spice Girls individually, along with several other producers, in order to utilize the track. Franco further noted that securing the rights to use this track might have been the most challenging aspect of the entire production process.
They composed numerous personal, heartfelt letters for each member of the Spice Girls, as Brie pointed out, these letters demonstrated their devotion by incorporating snapshots of a classic Spice Girls tee they jointly owned and enclosing them with the correspondence.
Different from Sophie Ellis Bextor and her song “Saltburn“, this duo is unsure if any of the Spice Girls have personally watched “Together“. However, they are aware of the setting of the scene.
Franco affirmed that we forwarded the specified scene to them. Brie commented, ‘The general response seemed quite startled. I’m unsure if this reaction was primarily from the actresses.’
Together is out now in UK cinemas.
