Discussing her initial experience in a romantic comedy with Digital Spy, Simone Ashley shared that she learned a great deal about simply providing joy and inducing laughter without overanalyzing things. She explained that it was all about approaching such scenes as fun moments meant to express happiness.
As I delved deeper into my comedic craft, I discovered more about myself and what truly resonates as authentic humor for me. I must admit, the wisdom shared by my fellow actors was invaluable. Their thoughtfulness in shaping their characters was palpable, adding richness to our collective performance that I couldn’t help but learn from.
Furthermore, Hero Fiennes Tiffin shared insights about how his actual life encounters shaped his acting in the movie.
In previous roles, he found an intriguing aspect in portraying a character who was somewhat younger than himself, which could be considered a maturing or coming-of-age story. He shared this insight with Digital Spy.
It’s intriguing to explore a phase of life that occurs around your late twenties when things begin to seem more tangible, as if you’re asking yourself, “Is this the moment?” despite still clinging to the feeling of being 18 years old.
However, this is an entirely distinct examination of those topics and values that matter most to you, spanning from the age of 18 up to almost 28.
