Here's how and when to tune in to The Penguin so you don't miss an episode!

The Penguin episode guide

The television series titled “The Penguin” is set to air on September 19, 2024, at 9 p.m. Eastern Time, exclusively on HBO and Max. So, mark your calendars because it won’t be available for streaming until that specific time. This isn’t a midnight release due to it being classified as an HBO production initially. Keep in mind that the release day may differ from this point forward.

Starting from this coming Sunday, September 29th, I’ll be diving into new episodes every week on Sundays, right up until we reach the finale in November! There are a total of 8 episodes for this season, so here’s the schedule to help you stay updated throughout the season:

  • Episode 1, “After Hours” – Thursday, Sept. 19
  • Episode 2, “Inside Man,” – Sunday, Sept. 29
  • Episode 3, “Bliss” – Sunday, Oct. 6
  • Episode 4, “Cent’Anni” – Sunday, Oct. 13

  • Episode 6, “Gold Summit” – Sunday, Oct. 27
  • Episode 7, “Top Hat” – Sunday, Nov. 3
  • Episode 8, “Great or Little Thing” – Sunday, Nov. 10

Max plans and prices

Through your TV or cable service, you’ll soon have access to HBO. If you prefer streaming, there are three Max plans to pick from, including some bundle options too. Here’s my suggestion if you don’t currently subscribe and just want to watch “The Penguin“: opt for the most budget-friendly plan, which is the one with ads. If commercials are a bother for you, then the Ad-Free tier costs $16.99/month compared to the Premium Ad-Free. Here’s a summary of your choices:

  • With Ads: $9.99/month
  • Ad-Free: $16.99/month
  • Ultimate Ad-Free: $20.99/month
  • Disney+, Hulu, Max Bundle (With Ads): $16.99/month
  • Disney+, Hulu, Max Bundle (No Ads): $29.99/month

How to sign up for Max

Alongside him, we’ve got Cristin Milioti as Sofia Falcone, Rhenzy Feliz as Victor Aguilar, Michael Kelly as Johnny Viti, Shohreh Aghdashloo as Nadia Maroni, Deirdre O’Connell as Francis Cobb, Clancy Brown as Salvatore Maroni, James Madio as Milos Grapa, Scott Cohen as Luca Falcone, Michael Zegen as Alberto Falcone, Carmen Ejogo as Eve Karlo, and Theo Rossi as Dr. Julian Rush.
