In various parts of the world, new musical genres are constantly emerging. Jameson has been dedicated to fostering the birth of fresh tunes by bridging connections between artists via its program, Jameson Distilled Sounds. Now in its second phase, the brand recently disclosed that it will join forces once more with Anderson .Paak for the forthcoming Jameson Distilled Sounds event in Ireland. Here, he will aid the musicians in their endeavor to create harmonious music blends.
Apart from serving as the head of the group, the Grammy-winning musician will also be responsible for selecting this year’s lineup in collaboration with his creative studio APESHIT, which Krystal Miles co-manages. In a recent announcement, she expressed that this event is not only about the performances during the program but also about its impact and influence. They are dedicated to broadening their roster by discovering artists who are setting trends in music across North America and beyond, from various parts of the world.
Originating from South Africa, the talented singer-songwriter Lloyiso begins the 2025 lineup, recognized for his heartfelt voice that earned him fame on the local talent show Idols. Joining him will be fellow artist Mary Ann Alexander, renowned for composing songs inspired by her personal experiences in India, as well as Monica Karina from Indonesia and Xenia Manasseh, an East African singer who have both amassed a large following with their spiritually moving R&B music.
Kazakh artist Moldanazar brings a fresh take to pop music, blending ’70s synth elements into his sound. Meanwhile, Malaysian musician Saint Kylo offers a classic funk vibe reminiscent of Anderson .Paak’s work. On the other hand, Irish artist Skinner is preparing to shake things up with his punk rock style, influenced by the No Wave movement in New York, as shown in songs like “Calling in Sick” and “Sour Milk.
Regarding the duo consisting of Kenyan artist Kethan and EU.CLIDES from Portugal, these versatile musicians have joined forces through their mutual love for revitalizing the traditional music of their respective countries. They incorporate gospel, electronic rhythms, and various other genres in their work. Notably, Manny Wellz, a Nigerian singer who recently collaborated with Tems on “Peace”, will be joining this year’s lineup alongside Kp Illest from Namibia, who is both a skilled rapper and an accomplished mixing engineer.
