Here Are the 2025 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Finalists

On Tuesday, the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) and Vogue unveiled the ten contenders shortlisted for the 2025 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund award. This recognition was established in the aftermath of the September 11 attacks with the purpose of nurturing the upcoming crop of American fashion designers.

The group of finalists for the year 2025 consists of Ashlynn Park from Ashlynn, Julian Louie hailing from Aubero, Bach Mai, Bernard James, Ashley Moubayed representing Don’t Let Disco, Gabe Gordon and Thomthy Gibbons who are both from Gabe Gordon, Stephanie Suberville of Heirlome, Jamie Okuma, Meruert Tolegen, and Peter Do.

In 2021, the competition is set to grant its top winner an impressive cash reward of $300,000 USD, and will also bestow $100,000 USD each to two runners-up. Furthermore, all finalists stand to benefit from valuable business mentorship opportunities.

The designs mentioned earlier will be evaluated by the Selection Committee of 2023, comprising Anna Wintour from Vogue, Mark Holgate and Nicole Phelps, Instagram’s Eva Chen, Aurora James who founded Fifteen Percent Pledge, model Paloma Elsesser, Rickie De Sole from Nordstrom, Roopal Patel of Saks, CFDA chairman Thom Browne, and Zac Posen from Gap.

As it enters its third decade, it’s clear that the impact of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund on shaping American fashion into a vibrant and inclusive field is significant. This year’s designers further emphasize this transformation, according to CFDA CEO Steven Kolb speaking through Vogue. We eagerly anticipate seeing how the finalists will leave their unique imprint on American fashion.
