Sixteen teams make their way into the DreamLeague Season 25 main event.

As a fervent fan, I can’t help but feel the excitement brewing as DreamLeague Season 25 draws near! Teams across the globe are hustling through regional qualifiers, each vying for a spot in the main event. In total, there are seven regional qualifiers, with each region sending a unique number of teams to the grand finale. Here’s the list of teams that have secured their spots for DreamLeague Season 25:

Which teams qualified for DreamLeague Season 25?

16 squads will advance to DreamLeague Season 25. Some initial invitations are given to teams based on their EPT Rankings. The Western Europe qualifiers are currently in progress, with AVULUS securing a spot in the main event. On the other hand, Eastern Europe’s representatives, 9Pandas and Team Spirit, have qualified for the main event following a three-day qualifying tournament.

During the Southeast Asian Qualifiers, BOOM Esports beat out Talon in the lower bracket final. Aurora Gaming remained unbeaten throughout the bracket, but they weren’t invincible; they suffered losses against both Talon Esports and BOOM Esports.

The qualifying tournament in Western Europe concludes on January 11th, leaving the last two representative teams to secure their places. Simultaneously, China, MESWA, and North America will finalize their teams for the DreamLeague Season 25 by the same date.

DreamLeague Season 25 consists of three parts: Group Stage 1, Group Stage 2, and the Playoffs. The first group stage spans over four days, starting from February 16. It comprises two groups, each containing eight teams, where every team plays against each other once in a best-of-two series format. The top four teams advance to the subsequent phase. The second group stage follows a similar structure. The top two teams proceed to the Upper bracket of the playoffs, while the next two teams move to the Lower bracket. The Playoffs follow a double-elimination system, with each match being a best-of-three series.

The upcoming DreamLeague Season 25 is a significant event, featuring sixteen teams and boasting a million-dollar prize pool. Commencing on February 16 and concluding by late March 2, this tournament is expected to deliver top-notch Dota 2 esports action.
