As a seasoned Star Wars enthusiast who has spent countless hours immersed in the galaxy far, far away, I must say that the new Duchess Satine Kryze dress by Her Universe is nothing short of a dream come true! Growing up, I always admired the elegant and strong-willed Duchess from The Clone Wars, and now I can channel her grace and sophistication in my own everyday life.

At New York Comic Con 2024, they showcased a stunning new design inspired by Duchess Satine Kryze from The Clone Wars. Mark your calendars – it’ll be up on their website starting October 22nd.

Through the blog “Anakin + His Angel“, we get an exclusive first glance at a day dress that showcases a luxurious fabric with a rich blend of purple and deep green, providing a regal ambiance for the wearer. The belt is captivatingly designed to resemble Satine’s belt from “The Clone Wars“. Intricate red stitching with black patterns creates the timeless Art Deco style reminiscent of the Mandalorians, while seven white pillars adorn the top to complete the design.

What makes this even better is the inclusion of pockets – something every dress wearer can appreciate as truly essential.

The design of this dress is inspired by the ornate gown Duchess Satine wore during her introduction in “The Mandalore Plot,” Season 2 episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Duchess Satine, voiced by Anna Graves, quickly became a beloved character, not least because of her intriguing history with another notable figure within the franchise – Obi-Wan Kenobi. Their mutual affection was hinted at throughout the series, with their reunion scenes often bringing these feelings to the surface. “The Mandalore Plot” marked the introduction of another iconic name in the Star Wars universe. In addition, Jon Favreau made his debut in this episode, lending his voice to Pre Vizsla. Interestingly, Favreau later served as the showrunner for The Mandalorian.
