I’ve been a part of this franchise for quite some time, and I am excited to announce that this will undeniably deliver the Voltron adventure that fans have long envisioned.
There’s been a bit of buzz regarding the release of our upcoming movie. Rest assured, once we have solidified the official plans for the film, you’ll be among the very first to learn about it directly from us right here.
“Stay with us! I promise it’ll be worth the wait!”
The project, which was initially unveiled in October 2024, features Henry Cavill playing the main character. Director Rawson Marshall Thurber from ‘Red Notice’ is also involved.
In the year 2024, towards its end, it was announced that Sterling K Brown, famous for his role in “This Is Us,” and pop sensation Rita Ora joined the cast. Preparations for the main filming, set to commence in December, were already underway.
The specifics about the upcoming movie are being closely guarded secrets, but as promised by Thurber earlier, enthusiasts of the original series need not worry – they won’t be let down.
In a message shown at VoltCon last October, Thurber emphasized the importance of keeping the essence and soul of Voltron intact.
“In this film, we’re going to be introducing an entirely new generation of pilots.
In our new interpretation, we’re bringing Voltron into the realm of live-action, while maintaining the cherished aspects that resonate with you and me.
Voltron doesn’t have a release date yet.
