On Wednesday, Helen Skelton left BBC Morning Live with a cheerful expression following a delightful weekend getaway to a countryside spa, accompanied by her co-host, Gethin Jones.

The host, who is 41 years old, seemed cheerful upon her departure from the studios after the intermission, marking her initial exit since then.

Gethin, aged 47, departed later than his reported romantic partner and acting colleague.

Helen put together a chic outfit by tucking a khaki blouse into black pants, adding a layer of a white vest over it.

She kept comfortable in a pair of flat sandals and carried a large suitcase and a blue backpack.

Three children’s mother arranged her wavy, golden hair freely and perched her sunglasses atop her head, adorning herself with large, golden earrings.

Simultaneously, Gethin presented an air of calm sophistication wearing a well-fitted burgundy t-shirt, paired with denim pants and sneakers.

As the presenter strolled along, he had a compact backpack on him, donned a pair of shades, and glanced at his phone periodically.

It was last month when rumors about a romantic connection between Gethin and Helen started swirling, as stories about their alleged relationship made headlines.

On Monday, they were seen enjoying a close moment at a spa, following Gethin taking Helen out on a date at his rural club.

In my professional opinion, I must confess that the recent dinner date between Gethin and Helen was more than just a casual outing. The ease and familiarity they exuded suggested a level of comfort beyond ordinary friendship. They seemed to be deeply engrossed in each other, giving off an undeniable vibe of something more significant brewing between them.

Helen was genuinely chuckling and beaming during their shared moments prior to departing in the evening, which they mentioned to The Sun.

On weekday mornings, Gethin and Helen can be found on the BBC show, and it’s noted that the event occurred following their departure from the Manchester studio in tandem.

Gethin lives in Altrincham in south Manchester after relocating from London back in 2022.

Meanwhile, Helen resides in Cumbria along with her kids, Ernie (age 9), Louis (8), and Elsie (3). These children are shared with her former partner, Richie Myler.

This month, photographs emerged of the celebrities exiting the BAFTA Television Awards hand-in-hand, but speculation about a romantic relationship between them began in March when they participated together in a 24-hour roller-skating event for Comic Relief, sparking rumors.

During the challenge, Gethin publicly praised Helen’s resilience and sense of humour.

On Instagram, he openly expressed his appreciation for her following a touching moment. He reached out to her just an hour after the event concluded, to discuss and reflect on what happened.

Ecstatic about our moments together, I couldn’t help but share a special pet name I have for Helen – “my famous ferret” – as I posted a picture of her sporting a cute red nose.

Spectators swiftly recognized their bond, as one expressed: “Both of you seem meant for each other. I adore both of you. Quite an extraordinary contest, delightful to observe.

Another commented: ‘Cooooome on!!! It’s staring you both in the face!!’ 

 
 

Since then, they’ve been spotted at numerous prestigious gatherings, such as a charity gala, where once more, their casual and intimate behavior drew notice.

Despite neither Gethin nor Helen verifying the speculations, their increasing proximity persists in fueling curiosity among fans.

In 2022, Helen made public her split from her husband, Richie Myler, who was 35 years old at the time, only four months after the arrival of their third child together.

The split reportedly came as a shock, leaving Helen blindsided. 

At the moment, she posted on Instagram: ‘It’s regrettable to announce that Richie and I have separated. He moved out of our shared home. We are committed to jointly raising our little ones.’

After the split, Helen moved along with her trio of kids back to her birthplace, Cumbria, where she devoted her attention to her loved ones and professional endeavors.

Later in 2022, she made an appearance on Strictly Come Dancing. She attributed the program for aiding her in managing the emotional fallout from her marital separation.

After an unexpected split with Helen, Richie embarked on a fresh romance and went on to have two additional kids.

In the meantime, Gethin has been unattached for about two years, having had a brief romance with the popular TV personality, Cici Coleman, back in 2023.

In the past, he was involved in relationships with Lucy Mecklenburgh from TOWIE in 2014 and Katja Zwara, a well-known German lingerie model, in 2017.

Back in 2014, he dated Lucy Mecklenburgh (TOWIE) and then Katja Zwara (German underwear model) in 2017.

However, his most substantial romantic connection spanned over four years (from 2007) with the renowned Welsh opera artist, Katherine Jenkins, whom he dated.
