Helen Hunt, 61, flaunts bikini body in Italy after revealing she skips Botox, plastic surgery and diets

Helen Hunt showcased her toned bikini physique during a delightful summer vacation to Italy, where she spent time on a romantic retreat.

In Taormina, Sicily, where the second season of The White Lotus takes place, a 61-year-old actress spent her vacation with her partner, Jeffrey Nordling, whom she’s been dating for three years.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d rephrase that to: Despite shunning common Hollywood methods like strict diets, Botox, and cosmetic surgeries, Helen radiated an undeniable youthfulness during her getaway.

I chose a fashionable two-piece swimsuit, featuring a vibrant yellow top and floral bottoms, which accentuated my admirably toned abdomen.

Showcasing ample cleavage and her stunningly long legs, the timelessly elegant actress basked in the warm rays of the Mediterranean sun, gracefully displaying herself.

Following a swim in the sea, she was noticed stepping out onto dry ground, heavily soaked, evoking the charm of a classic Hollywood beauty as she brushed away her damp hair.

In 1988, Jeffrey had a relationship with Helen, but they lost touch for many years. More recently, they unexpectedly rekindled their connection. It’s worth noting that Jeffrey was also spotted taking a leisurely dip.

Helen eagerly seized the athletic activities her journey presented, having a fantastic time on a paddleboarding adventure in the Mediterranean.

For that particular task, she slipped on a fashionable, ruffly white top, paired it with a pair of denim shorts commonly known as ‘Daisy Dukes’, and completed the look with a sun hat made from straw.

On solid ground, I trade my paddleboarding hat for a casual baseball cap and slide into a pair of nude flip-flops, embracing the comfort off-the-water.

After many years together, Helen and Jeffrey continued to exhibit the initial excitement of love, intertwining fingers and sharing deep glances as they spent time side by side.

The pair was spotted relaxing together on deck chairs, enjoying some respite from the sun’s rays following their time swimming and soaking up the sun.

I recently made headlines for standing firm against Hollywood’s conventional beauty norms, and now, here I am, continuing to challenge those standards with my latest appearance.

In more recent times, the actress from Mad About You has shifted away from feeling pressured about maintaining a particular appearance.

She shared with Flow Space that it seemed unavoidable to absorb the ideal appearance one should have. There was also a sense of sadness and embarrassment associated with not meeting those standards perfectly,” she said.

Helen came to understand that the beauty ideals of Hollywood were impacting her self-confidence. Yet, she has decided to shield her mental wellbeing from external influences that may harm it.

I understood, ‘This has the potential to subtly derail your entire life.’ I chose: I won’t participate. I won’t allow it to consume significant mental real estate.

Helen’s innovative strategy bears significant resemblance to “The One and Only Diet,” a literary work penned by spiritual guide Sondra Ray.

The actress explained: ‘What I took from it, is eat what you want and love every bite, period.’

This also meant she has refused Botox and plastic surgery as she prefers to age naturally.

Meanwhile, Helen previously admitted to obsessing about her appearance in the 80s.

At a particular point, the famous actor found herself facing significant expectations about her appearance. However, adopting a new mindset has remarkably changed her for the better.

She shared with HuffPost Live that she struggled with body image concerns during the 1980s: “I found myself excessively preoccupied with my appearance because everyone seemed to be in better shape, or thinner. I reached a point where I was overly anxious about it.

Helen’s change in attitude has benefited her mental and physical health.

The award-winning actress mused, ‘After letting go of concern, both my mind and body seemed to improve.’

I found myself attending workout sessions labeled ‘abs, thighs, and buns’, and I pondered aloud, “Am I eventually going to pass away? Is it worth sacrificing an hour from my day for this class?

Helen has an Academy Award, four Emmys, and four Golden Globes under her belt.

She’s widely recognized for acting roles across film, stage, and television, such as the NBC sitcom “Mad About You” (1992-1999) and the 1997 romantic comedy “As Good as It Gets.” For her portrayal of Jamie Buchman in “Mad About You,” Hunt garnered four Emmys, three Golden Globes, and a Screen Actors Guild Award.

She was seen in March in a new social media photo.

At Wrigley Field in Chicago, Hunt gleamed with joy, accompanied by her partner, the actor Jeffrey Nordling from Big Little Lies.

Wrapped up against the cold late-winter air, the actress known for her role as Jamie Buchman in Mad About You (from 1992 to 1999) showed she was eager for the commencement of baseball season.

In a short while, the Chicago Cubs will square off against my Los Angeles Dodgers in Tokyo at the start of the 2025 season. Despite my enthusiasm for the Dodgers, I must admit that the Cubs are truly impressive, and the stadium’s beauty is a sight to behold. #GoDodgers

decades have gone by since she starred as Sarah Jessica Parker’s carefree best friend in the 1985 film “Girls Just Want to Have Fun,” yet Helen retains an undeniable radiance reminiscent of a movie star.

Her recent Instagram post continues the charm from her stylish appearance at last month’s Vanity Fair Oscars party, where she captivated in a sophisticated Christian Siriano dress while strolling hand-in-hand with Nordling.

They initially met when they both acted in the 1988 NBC film titled “Shooter,” which focused on Vietnam War photojournalists.

Back then, I stepped into the shoes of Tracey, while my co-star assumed the role of Matt Thompson. However, the sparks of a lasting romance seemed to fizzle out during that time.

Looking back at last year, May 2022, I couldn’t help but buzz with anticipation as Jeffrey casually posted a picture of us all at Dodger Stadium. There he was, along with the fabulous Helen, Camryn Manheim, and the legendary Billie Jean King. The photo sparked a flurry of speculation among fans like me, trying to decipher the hidden meaning behind such an iconic gathering.

Come October, I stepped into a new chapter of my life on the red carpet at the grand opening of the Los Angeles Philharmonic’s 20th Anniversary Gala held at the stunning Walt Disney Concert Hall.

15th June, 1963 marked the birth of Hunt in Culver City, California. As a youngster, she embarked on an acting career, making her first appearance on TV in the 1973 show titled ‘Pioneer Woman’.

She became widely known for portraying Jamie Buchman in the TV series Mad About You (1992-1999), winning herself four Primetime Emmy Awards in the category of Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.

1997 saw Helen Hunt being awarded the Academy’s Best Actress accolade for her exceptional portrayal of Carol Connelly in “As Good as It Gets,” sharing the screen with Jack Nicholson.

In the years following, she built upon her cinematic triumphs by starring as the lead in movies like Twister (1996), Pay It Forward (2000), and The Sessions (2012). Her performance in The Sessions even landed her an Oscar nomination.

Hunt made her feature film directorial debut with Then She Found Me (2007).

From 2001 until 2017, she was wedded to the producer, Matthew Carnahan. They are parents to their beautiful daughter, Makena Lei Gordon Carnahan, who was born in 2004.

Over the past five years, Hunt has once again taken on her famous character Jamie Buchman, this time in the reboot of “Mad About You,” which premiered on Spectrum Originals in 2019.

Apart from that, she’s also taken the helm for episodes on well-known television series, such as Blindspotting (2021) and The Politician (2020). This additional credit strengthens her reputation as a competent director.

Up next, Helen is set to guest star in Hacks Season 3, premiering May 2 on Max.
