Helen George and her boyfriend, Dan Innes, were spotted at a screening of the Call the Midwife season 15 finale in London on Thursday. She definitely stood out!
The 41-year-old actress, known for her role as Trixie Aylward in the BBC drama, looked stunning in a low-cut black satin top while getting cozy with her 51-year-old boyfriend before the show’s screening.
Helen paired a bold halter top with fashionable black leather jeans and posed for the cameras.
She finished her outfit with high, pointed black heels and gold jewelry.
Helen’s boyfriend, Dan, looked sharp in a velvet blazer and black corduroy pants, and he affectionately put his arm around her.
Victoria Yeates, Miriam Margolyes, Renee Bailey, Stephen McGann, and Natalie Quarry were also present.
Victoria, age 42 and famous for playing Sister Winifred on television, wore a bright purple floral dress with a black leather jacket over it to the movie screening.
Miriam, age 84 and known for playing Mother Mildred, looked relaxed and cozy in a brightly colored sweater and grey pants.
Renee, age 31, known for her role as Nurse Joyce Highland, kept her style casual, wearing a black hoodie, black pants, and a tan leather jacket while posing for photos.
Stephen, 63, who plays Dr. Patrick Turner, looked stylish in a navy coat with two rows of buttons as he posed for photos before the movie screening.
Natalie, 26, who is famous for playing Nurse Rosalind Clifford in the drama, looked stylish and sophisticated in a grey blazer, a white top, and black pants.
As a lifestyle expert, I’ve been following the latest season of ‘Call the Midwife’ – you might know it, it’s that heartwarming BBC show about the nurse-midwives and nuns working in London. It just came back for its fifteenth series last month, and it’s as lovely as ever!
The show has been focusing on Judy Parfitt’s character, Sister Monica Joan, and a recent, very moving episode has left audiences wanting to see what happens next.
Everyone’s favorite character, Sister Monica, has been diagnosed with kidney failure. Dr. Patrick Turner (played by Stephen McGann) ordered more tests to determine the severity of her condition.
Viewers were upset last month when a planned episode of the show was unexpectedly cancelled due to a change in the broadcast schedule.
The Daily Mail reported that the new season of Call The Midwife will be delayed because it’s been moved from its usual time slot to accommodate the 2026 BAFTA Film Awards.
The official Call The Midwife Instagram account announced that the next episode will air a week later than scheduled, meaning fans will have to wait two weeks between episodes.
Oh my gosh, you guys! I just saw the announcement! Apparently, like every year, they’re going to pause everything next Sunday because of the BAFTAs! Can you believe it? The BAFTAs are on BBC1, and everything just stops for them. It’s amazing, honestly. I need to prepare!
We’ll be back with a new episode of Call the Midwife in two weeks! Series 15 continues on Sunday, March 1st at 8pm on BBC1.
Fans expressed their frustration in the comments, with one person writing, ‘I’m not sure I can handle waiting any longer.’
Someone protested that it wasn’t fair, while another person expressed their desire to watch ‘CTM’ instead of the BAFTAs.
Honestly, I was so hopeful we’d finally get through a BAFTA ceremony without some kind of interruption! It’s just… frustrating! Someone even suggested moving the whole thing to BBC Two, which, honestly, isn’t the worst idea. We deserve to watch without constant disruptions!
