Helen Flanagan‘s new autobiography is full of surprising and shocking revelations.
Helen Flanagan, known for playing Rosie Webster on Coronation Street, recently discussed her past relationship with Scott Sinclair, her experiences as a child actor, and her struggles with mental health.
She’s also talked about disagreements and conflicts she’s had with people she’s worked with throughout her career.
In her book, she recounts an experience with a harsh classmate on the set of Coronation Street and says TV personality Yvette Fielding disliked her.
Helen said that when she came back to Corrie in 2017 after some time away, the mood on set had shifted, and she noticed groups of people forming who weren’t very welcoming.
In her book, Head & Heart, Rosie describes feeling excluded by some of her fellow cast members. She specifically recalls one actress who was often sarcastic and cold towards her, making her feel uncomfortable.
She might have been upset that my homecoming received a lot of media coverage – something I couldn’t control – but I believe she misunderstood who I was.
I often felt isolated and excluded, especially during lunch breaks. Looking back, it reminds me of the movie Mean Girls. I’m friendly with most people, but there was one actress who consistently treated me poorly.
She also talked about working with Yvette on Celebrity Super-Spa in 2013, saying she openly disliked her and didn’t try to hide it.
Helen even claimed that Yvette called her ‘evil’ at one point.
The book also details her falling out with her former “Corrie” co-star and on-screen love interest, Ryan Thomas.
She detailed how she clashed with the star, who played Jason Grimshaw.
She explained that their argument happened because she was frustrated with Ryan, who she said was often grumpy and didn’t seem to learn his lines.
The celebrity, known for appearing on Celebrity Big Brother, played the character Jason on a popular soap opera from 2000 to 2016. Despite a romantic storyline, the two actors didn’t get along behind the scenes. However, Helen has said they’ve become friends over time.
In her autobiography, she wrote about her difficult relationship with Ryan Thomas, explaining they didn’t get along well in real life either. They often argued, mostly because he was particularly grumpy in the mornings and frequently forgot his lines!
She also told The Sun that over time, she and Ryan, along with his brothers Adam and Scott, have become good friends. She said she really likes them all, describing them as good people.
She also shared that she and her co-star Brooke Vincent both dated the same Manchester City footballer, before her relationship with Scott Sinclair ended.
Before Helen dated footballer Scott, she briefly had a relationship with Reece Wabara, a player for Manchester City. Shortly after that ended, Brooke began dating Wabara.
She initially described him as very handsome, but that impression didn’t last long. She then added that he was popular with women, regardless.
Helen and Scott were in a relationship for 13 years and had three children – Matilda, age 10, Delilah, 7, and Charlie, 4 – before separating in 2022.
Reports surfaced earlier this week that Scott has asked Helen to leave the £1.5 million, six-bedroom house they used to share, following a complete breakdown in their communication.
Last week, Helen asked her followers to stop contacting her about Scott, as their disagreement had become very intense.
She posted a video on Instagram saying she wasn’t interested in her ex-fiancé anymore and asked fans to please stop bringing him up.
The celebrity mentioned they’ve been receiving many direct messages asking about the father of their children and where he is.
I’m really not interested in hearing about anyone’s personal life through direct messages. Please don’t share that with me.
Scott put the house up for sale last year, and it seems he wants Helen to downsize because he no longer wants to cover the costs of maintaining it.
According to a source, the former couple has stopped speaking to each other directly and now communicates only through Helen’s parents.
According to sources, Helen is refusing to move. She’s very attached to her current home because she loves the area, her children are happy at their school, and her parents live nearby.
Scott is planning to buy a four-bedroom house for Helen and has offered to put the ownership in her name. However, he wants her to be responsible for all the upkeep and repair costs.
As a lifestyle expert, I’ve seen properties take different paths to finding the right buyer. This home originally listed for £1.5 million last May, but we quickly realized that price wasn’t attracting enough interest. We adjusted it down to £1.195 million just a month later, and then again in September to £995,000 to really open it up to a wider range of potential buyers. It’s all about finding that sweet spot in the market!
According to another source, Scott hasn’t yet secured new housing for Helen and their children. The source says Scott is eager to sell the property to access the funds, but hasn’t been able to find a suitable replacement home for Helen and the kids.
‘He’s not being reasonable. He and Helen are not on the same page.’
Okay, so I was obsessed with finding out what Helen and Scott thought about everything, and the Daily Mail actually reached out to their people – their managers or publicists, you know? – to get a statement. They really tried to get their side of things, which, honestly, I was glued to the internet waiting for!
Helen was very upset with her ex-partner, Scott, last month because he didn’t show up to their son’s school Christmas play.
The soap star split from the Bristol Rovers footballer in 2022 following 13 years together.
Helen publicly called out Scott after he posted about his weekend trip to the Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi.
Helen angrily re-posted a message from Instagram, writing: ‘You’re awful! How could you miss Charlie’s nativity play?’
