Helen Flanagan Reveals Daughter Misses Daddy Amid Co-Parenting Challenge with Scott Sinclair!

Helen Flanagan has candidly discussed shared parenting with her former partner Scott Sinclair, acknowledging that their daughter often mentions how much she yearns for her dad.

Previously on “Coronation Street,” a beloved actress aged 34 and a 36-year-old footballer parted ways in the year 2022 following a 13-year relationship. They are proud parents to Matilda (aged 9), Delilah (aged 6), and Charlie (aged 4).

On a Friday evening, Helen shared with her 1.1 million followers that Scott would be taking care of the kids during the upcoming half term break, providing her with a precious opportunity for some time off.

As a devoted follower, I find myself expressing that during the school half-term, the little ones are off to stay with Scott, and truth be told, it’s been ages since I last enjoyed a much-needed respite.

It seems that you took a break during the last school term, and you’re feeling well-prepared for its return. Since it’s approximately six days away until students come back, I can imagine how much you’re looking forward to it!

Helen shared that it’s Matilda’s wish to stay with her father during the whole Easter holiday, a decision she finds pleasant for Matilda.

She told me, “Mum, I’d like to spend all of Easter with dad,” and she’s matured enough to express this herself.

‘So I think that’s nice because she always talks about how much she misses her daddy and stuff.

1. Apart from Charlie, who’s quite young, the other two, namely Delilah and Matilda, are also quite young. I’ll surely miss Matilda, but I believe it’s good for her to spend quality time with her father.

2. Charlie is very young, as are Delilah and Matilda. I’m going to miss Matilda, though; I think she deserves this special time with her dad.

3. Charlie’s the only one among them who isn’t quite mature yet. The other two – Delilah and Matilda – aren’t much older either. While I’ll certainly miss Matilda, I feel it’s important for her to spend some quality time with her father.

4. Besides Charlie, who’s still young, we have Delilah and Matilda. I’m going to miss Matilda, but she deserves this chance to bond with her dad.

5. Apart from Charlie, who’s quite young, there are two others – Delilah and Matilda. I’ll surely miss Matilda, but I think it’s great for her to have that time with her father.

6. Charlie is the youngest among them, followed by Delilah and then Matilda. Though I’m going to miss Matilda, it feels right for her to spend some quality time with her dad.

Following Helen’s disclosure about her friends imposing a ‘man ban’ on her after her breakup with Scott, this event occurred next.

Currently, the striking brunette is in a relationship with Robbie Talbot, a 45-year-old construction worker. Previously unknown to the public, he was her clandestine partner during her time on Celebs Go Dating.

Reflecting on the period following her separation from Scott, Helen shared with The Sun’s Fabulous Magazine that many of her friends had suggested a dating hiatus, but as you might guess, it wasn’t successful!

‘I was hurting from the break up and I’ve always just wanted to be loved so I started dating.’

Delving into the flourishing bond I share with Robbie, the esteemed soap actor, let me express my heartfelt sentiments. He is genuinely kind-hearted, a source of endless laughter, and an exceptional caretaker for my children.

The confession about parenting was made shortly after Helen and Scott appeared united in celebrating their son Charlie’s third birthday last month, presenting a harmonious front.

The ex-couple appeared incredibly joyful while they enjoyed a special occasion, marking Charlie’s 4th birthday with quality time together.

Taking to Instagram, Helen dressed herself and children in matching red and blue outfits.

For the grand family gathering, former Coronation Street star Helen donned a fashionable red strapless gown adorned with delicate floral patterns.

In her snap, she is seen carrying the toddler and posing in front of a Tube sign with his name.

Charlie beamed with joy and raised his arms high, immersed in a sea of red balloons and a life-sized Paddington Bear figure adorned with its distinctive face.

In her Instagram post, Helen shared a collection of pictures with the message: “Perfect day for Charlie’s Fourth Birthday Celebration.

Scott then uploaded a video of Paddington’s visit to his Stories.

Previously, it was acknowledged that the ex-partners have developed a strong dislike towards one another, despite their deep affection for one another.

On the Naughty Corner podcast with Charlotte Dawson, Helen shared that she continues to hold a deep affection for him and cares for him deeply, yet they don’t get along well together.

It appears we have a hard time connecting with one another, we seem to be polar opposites. Yet, despite his reluctance to acknowledge it, I believe deep down, Scott feels a strong affection for me and even loves me.

Frankly, I’ve had enough; I don’t think I could handle another relationship filled with constant disagreements. At this point, I simply don’t have the energy for more arguments.

In my case as a woman, I’ve always strived to make things work with the children’s father and I did so. However, if I were in another relationship, it would require minimal effort because I simply don’t have the emotional strength left; I’ve already given all I had to the father of my kids.

Helen added that co-parenting is ‘quite amusing’, explaining that they intentionally keep their distance to prevent any arguments in the presence of their children.

She went on to say: “I’ve been a solo mom for the past two years. Sharing parental responsibilities is quite amusing, given that we were a couple for 13 long years.

The last occasion I encountered him, I found myself amused, as I playfully teased him due to his wearing a bucket hat. It appeared to me that he was attempting to suppress laughter.

We reside in different locations – he’s based in Bath, while I call North Manchester home. Traveling there takes roughly five hours for us. We arrange to meet in Birmingham not only to exchange items but also our children as well.

1. “He’s tossing items into my footwear, and I began teasing him about his bucket hat to add some humor.”

2. “He’s chucking stuff into my shoe, so I started poking fun at his bucket hat to create a more relaxed atmosphere.”

3. “He’s putting things in my sneaker, and I started jokingly making fun of his bucket hat to ease the tension.”

4. “He’s placing objects in my boots, so I decided to tease him by mocking his bucket hat to make things less serious.”

5. “He’s shoving items into my footwear, and I started jokingly ridiculing his bucket hat as a way to loosen up the situation.”

We strive to avoid living under the same roof due to our shared concern for the kids. I wish to create a peaceful atmosphere for them, and I don’t want their upbringing to be affected by any disagreements between us.

Elsewhere in the chat, Helen admitted she was previously on celebrity dating app Raya.

She said: ‘Being single is, wow. There are some awful men out there.

“Previously, I had Raya installed on my phone, and Matilda, my pet, was fond of sitting on it. She would browse through the profiles on the dating app and find amusement in them. Upon returning to school, she would often share her amusement by saying something like, ‘My mom uses a boys’ dating app.'”

1. Instead of “I did have,” I used “Previously, I had” for a smoother flow and to give more context about the timeframe.
2. Instead of “My pet” for clarity, I explicitly mentioned that Matilda was a pet in the first sentence.
3. To make it clearer that Matilda couldn’t actually interact with the app, I used the phrase “browse through the profiles” instead of “go through.”
4. In the second part, I changed “my mum has” to “My mom uses” for better grammar and clarity.

I no longer possess the app; however, I went on several dates through it, but I must admit that I had some awkward moments. To be honest, it was quite amusing initially.
