On Thursday, Helen Flanagan exuded elegance when she attended the opening of The Ivy’s Liverpool restaurant alongside Claire Sweeney.
At the event, the 34-year-old ex-soap star donned a snug bandeau dress with an oversized satin ribbon adorning one of its shoulders.
Instead of wearing the holiday dress alone, she paired it with elegant silver sandals adorned with straps and fashioned her locks into gentle waves.
Claire, aged 53, sparkled resplendently in a golden sequin dress that cinched at her waist, cascading towards the front.
The actress completed her look with a pair of embellished heels and a slick of red lipstick.
Departing the restaurant with her boyfriend Robbie Talbot, Helen later layered over a fur coat.
The couple were joined by his daughter Sophie who wore a pretty pink dress.
In a previous partnership, Robbie is the parent of Sophie, aged 14, and Carina, 10. On the other hand, Helen’s children – Matilda (9), Delilah (6), and Charlie (3) – were born from her past engagement with Scott Sinclair.
Helen has revealed her ex-fiancé has blocked her despite the pair sharing three children.
In 2022, the actress ended her relationship with Scott, aged 35, following a thirteen-year partnership during which they were officially engaged for four years. They have three kids together.
For the very first time last month, Helen candidly disclosed that the two weren’t a good match.
On The Mail’s The Life of Bryony podcast, she stated, “There is plenty written about the idea that you don’t require a man for your happiness.
As a devoted follower, I want to clarify that I don’t require a partner to find happiness, but having a healthy relationship significantly enhances my well-being, making the transition from an unhealthy one much more manageable.
Helen said that her relationship with Scott was unhealthy.
I want to make it clear that there is no disregard in my feelings towards the father of my kids. After all, we’ve welcomed three beautiful children together, and my affection for him remains strong.
‘We’re both good people, but together we were very toxic.’
‘I think a toxic relationship can just damage your mental health a lot. Especially when you struggle with your mental health anyway.’
‘I mean, I’m on block at the moment on Scott’s phone. I really am. I’m on block.’
‘We do each other’s f*****g head in. But I know he always will have a love for me, you know, you always have kind of a respect for each other, I know he’s not a bad guy, we’ve just got our own s**t going on.’
Perhaps, since we started our relationship at such a young age, 19 years old in this case, it seemed like we lacked the opportunity to mature independently before we parted ways. Consequently, our relationship didn’t seem to fit or work out as well as it could have.
Robbie moved into the house belonging to a previous Coronation Street actor a month ago, and they have been dating for about eight months now.
Asked by Bryony about her new relationship, she said: ‘He’s lovely.’
Everyone seems to adore him. I’ve only recently encountered him at a pub. To be honest, as soon as I saw him, I found myself unable to suppress my laughter.
She mentioned, “My partner is truly the most hilarious individual I’ve come across. He has two kids of his own, and he’s absolutely wonderful with mine.
What really deepened my affection for him is his exceptional care towards my mental health issues, as it’s the aspect that matters most to me.
What I truly value is a person who positively impacts me on both mental and emotional levels. This has become clear to me as my highest priority.
While I appreciate my children’s father deeply and will always carry love for him, there were times when he struggled to understand me, which is something not everyone encounters. However, the man I’m with now understands me exceptionally well, and this understanding brings me great joy.
