Helen Flanagan is seen back behind the wheel of her £66k car for the first time since being banned from driving for six months
On a Friday, photographs emerged showing Helen Flanagan resuming control of her vehicle again, marking her first drive since serving a six-month prohibition from driving.
In January, the former Coronation Street actress, aged 34, testified in court that her former footballer partner, Robbie Talbot, was behind the wheel of their £66,000 Audi Q7 when it was pulled over for speeding on two occasions.
Despite asserting that she was experiencing financial hardship and couldn’t pay for taxis, she was still prohibited from using the roads for a period of six months.
Helen was in high spirits, enjoying her freshly-gained independence on the road, as she ran errands using her car, which is located close to her residence in Bolton.
For her laid-back excursion, the soap star opted for comfort in a grey tracksuit and white sneakers while she topped up her gas tank at the fuel station.
Helen, with her gold earrings, sunglasses perched on her sleekly styled hair, took a brief break for a coffee and appeared quite at ease as she strolled back to her car, clutching her takeout cup.

The attractive woman, with her golden locks, seemed genuinely happy upon seeing her high-end Audi once more, only a few weeks following her angry outburst over losing her driver’s license.
Last month, Helen expressed her frustration in a lively social media post, stating that not having a vehicle had made daily tasks like running errands and buying necessities incredibly difficult, given her remote location.
On her Instagram Stories, she clarified that her Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) had led her to confusion in handling her paperwork for license renewal, resulting in a delay in the procedure.
I’m really struggling to find words for how much trouble it is not having my driver’s license, as I live in a remote area and haven’t been able to drive.
It’s been incredibly frustrating, such as running out of toilet paper at the moment. Unfortunately, I can’t go to the store to buy more, so my friend has to deliver some for me instead.
At the court hearing, Helen explained that living in a secluded highland dwelling made it a 10-minute car ride just to reach the store for necessities like bread and milk. She admitted that without a vehicle, she would face significant difficulties in her rural setting.
The actress residing in the vicinity of Bolton, Greater Manchester, disclosed her earnings amounted to approximately £70,000 last year; however, she emphasized that her income fluctuates and admitted that she couldn’t spare a £10 taxi fare for transporting her son to nursery.
Assistant Stephen Kirk explained that Helen, who had accumulated six penalty points for speeding previously, neglected to identify the driver of the car when it was caught exceeding the speed limit on Merseyside last June. Specifically, the vehicle was clocked doing 42mph in a 30mph area and 51mph in a 40mph zone.

The magistrates added six penalty points to her record for each infraction, raising her overall tally to 18 points. This figure surpasses the usual 12-point limit at which magistrates typically impose a driving ban unless there are extraordinary circumstances that warrant leniency.
In an attempt to save her license, Helen expressed remorse by saying, “I deeply apologize. Foolishly, I believed it was allowable for my partner to claim he was driving instead of me.
Helen shared with the court that she devotes her entire day to taking care of her kids, Matilda (nine years old), Delilah (six years old), and Charlie (three years old). She relies on the car to transport them to preschool, school, and various extracurricular activities.
She mentioned that her primary role is being a stay-at-home mom as her partner is often away for work. At present, it’s quite challenging for her to generate income due to the inconsistent earnings she gets from her social media activities.
She mentioned, “It may seem like I could effortlessly pay for a chauffeur, but that couldn’t be further from the truth.
‘I’ve got enough money in my account to pay off my tax and my VAT and basically that’s about it.’
