Helen Flanagan returned to work on Monday, starting rehearsals for a play in Bolton, after spending the Christmas holidays away from her three children due to a difficult co-parenting situation with her former partner, Scott Sinclair.
I was so excited to see Helen Flanagan, you know, the former Coronation Street star, arriving at the Bolton Octagon! She’s playing Catherine in ‘The Memory Of Water,’ and she looked lovely and natural heading to the stage door – she wasn’t wearing any makeup, which I really appreciated. It felt so authentic and down-to-earth!
Helen looked relaxed and comfortable in a black outfit, wearing a knitted sweater with a leather skirt and carrying a large, fluffy bag.
The actress pulled her blonde hair back and enjoyed a coffee to go before meeting her co-stars for rehearsal.
She’ll play one of three sisters coming together before their mother’s funeral in the upcoming comedy. Vicky Binns, known for her role as Molly Dobbs on Coronation Street, will also star.
Helen shares Matilda, 10, and Delilah, seven, along with son Charlie, four, with ex-fiancé Scott.

The actress had a tough Christmas, spending the holiday away from her three children. She also said her ex-partner, a former soccer player, didn’t attend their son’s nativity play.
Scott shared a heartwarming Christmas photo with his children. The picture shows him standing with all three kids in a forest, and they’re all smiling for the camera.
He wrote ‘Peace and happiness’ as the caption for the post. The family also had a fun, festive outing to an ice rink where they went skating.
I was absolutely livid when I heard what happened! Apparently, Helen just went OFF on Scott – her ex – because he didn’t even bother showing up to their son’s nativity play! Can you believe it? It’s just awful, and honestly, she was totally right to be furious. I mean, their son’s nativity! How could he miss that? I’m so Team Helen right now.
The soap star split from the Bristol Rovers footballer in 2022 following 13 years together.
Helen publicly criticized Scott for sharing posts from his weekend trip to the Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi.
Re-sharing his Instagram post, Helen raged: ‘You really are a piece of s***.
‘How dare you not turn up to Charlie’s nativity.’

Scott shared photos from his trip where he saw Lando Norris win his first Drivers’ Championship.
‘What a weekend-Abu Dhabi F1,’ Scott wrote. He added: ‘Happy Days, blurry nights..’
Helen posted an adorable picture of herself hugging her son, with a caption expressing her love for him. She called the nativity play he was in ‘lovely’ and affectionately referred to him as ‘my star, my heartbeat’.
The Daily Mail contacted Scott’s representative for comment at the time.
However, a source later revealed that Helen was actually upset because Scott had been enjoying a period of carefree fun and attention after breaking up with his girlfriend, Lauren Davies, 32.
While Scott has been having fun at events like the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Helen has been busy juggling a full-time job performing in a pantomime with her family responsibilities.
Honestly, it’s just awful what Scott is doing to Helen! I heard it’s his year to have the kids for Christmas, and she’s absolutely devastated. It feels like he only bothers being a dad when it suits him, just picking and choosing when he wants to spend time with them. It’s so unfair to Helen and the kids, and it’s really getting to me as a fan who just wants everyone to be happy!
According to a source, things began to worsen after Scott became single. Helen has been working incredibly hard lately, but feels Scott doesn’t understand the pressure she’s under.
‘To make matters worse he is having the children for Christmas this year, which is another blow.’
According to another source, Helen is furious with how Scott is acting. He seems to be prioritizing his own needs and not considering the impact on their children. Ultimately, Helen is their mother, and he should be more considerate and respectful.
