As a dedicated follower of showbiz news, it’s heartbreaking to see someone like Helen Flanagan, who has always been vibrant and full of life, go through such a difficult time. Her tears on Loose Women were a stark reminder that fame and fortune don’t shield us from the struggles of life.

On the set of Loose Women on Thursday, Helen Flanagan found herself overcome with emotion while talking about her separation from her former partner, Scott Sinclair.

Previously known for her role in Coronation Street, a 34-year-old actress who has three children with a footballer, made an appearance on the show recently. She was joined by her fellow former cast members Sally Dynevor and Sue Cleaver, as well as hosts Kaye Adams and Denise Welch.

Struggling to hold back her tears and grasping Sally’s hand tightly, Helen, known for portraying Sally’s daughter Rosie Webster on ITV, responded, “I hadn’t expected to be this emotional today!”

I wasn’t particularly eager to discuss it, but since I was just about to embark on a six-month theatre tour, that’s why I ended up talking about it.

When asked about joining Celebs Go Dating, Helen shared her enthusiasm, saying: “It was fantastic, incredibly enjoyable! To get the most out of it, I believe one needs to approach it with an open mind, and it turned out to be a terrific way to enjoy the summer.”

After Helen, who’s searching for ‘the one’ on the E4 dating show, shared about the emotional turmoil she experienced following her breakup.

Helen is currently raising three kids – Matilda who’s nine, Delilah who’s six, and three-year-old Charlie, all of whom she had with her ex-fiancé Scott Sinclair. Unfortunately, they parted ways in 2022 before the wedding took place.

Struggling with her feelings and dealing with a distressing side effect from her ADHD medication, she was pushed into a state of psychosis.

She reminisces now that she wasn’t feeling great back then. Specifically, her mental well-being was faltering during the winter months of December and January. In an attempt to alleviate her symptoms, she took her medication, but tragically, it only worsened her condition.

Helen needed several weeks to get better, causing her to step away from a live performance of Cluedo that she had eagerly anticipated as a comeback to the stage.

Initially, she was taken over by Ellie Leach, her previous acting partner and the victor of Strictly Come Dancing. However, it’s been announced that she will reappear on Celebs Go Dating in the near future.

42-year-old dating consultant Anna Williamson disclosed that Helen almost got dismissed from Celebs Go Dating due to her breaching one of the agency’s regulations.
