Heidi Montag shared that she now owns just two sets of jeans and two tops, as a result of her and husband Spencer Pratt being compelled to evacuate their Pacific Palisades residence following the destructive Los Angeles wildfires.

Earlier this week, the family consisting of a couple and their two boys left their house due to massive fires breaking out in the high-end neighborhood populated by celebrities. Since then, pictures have emerged, indicating that their residence no longer exists.

In a recent video shared on her Instagram Stories, Heidi openly confessed that she felt ‘swamped’ as she tried to gather necessary items for her family following the evacuation order.

Overwhelmed by emotion, she remarked that whatever items she managed to salvage were truly a “blessing.” Although grateful that her loved ones escaped the fire unharmed, she continues to grapple with the grief of losing her home.

She mentioned that when preparing for a fire, an unusual sensation occurs where your mind becomes frantic, questioning things like “What should I take? What can I leave behind?” It’s almost overpowering in its complexity.

Reflecting on our home packing process, it struck me that despite having a limited wardrobe myself – just two pairs of jeans and two shirts – I seemed to have overlooked gathering more items, given the abundance of clothing I have for my children.

I’m grateful that I managed to grab something in the chaos, which turned out to be fortunate. What matters most is that we’re safe and made it out. However, the situation was so panic-inducing that a part of me wanted to leave things behind, only to immediately think ‘I’ll return! Of course I’ll return!’

I’m sending heartfelt wishes to everyone facing similar challenges, as well as my dear friends and family members. Grateful for the fact that we’re all healthy and blessed with our kids.

As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but feel a pang of sorrow upon seeing the heartbreaking images from DailyMail.com, revealing the destruction of the beloved abode of Heidi and Spencer – their home, tragically reduced to ashes by the ferocious Palisades fires.

Only the blackened front gate and a section of the burnt exterior wall made from stucco remain standing in what was once the house.

Scattered heaps of rubble can be found across the premises, along with charred vegetation that used to adorn the garden in front of the house.

Apart from their house being damaged, Spencer’s parents unfortunately suffered the same fate and also lost their home to the fire as well.

Spencer posted a picture on his Instagram Stories, showing what was left of his parents’ home. He captioned it, “My parents’ house is gone,” followed by a series of weeping emojis.

The well-known duo from The Hills expressed shock and sorrow while discussing their recent loss on TikTok.

Across different TikTok videos, Heidi, aged 38, became visibly upset as she grappled with the devastation caused by the fire, which had claimed her home.

Whilst seated on the couch with one of her kids, Heidi tearfully expressed, ‘Our home has been lost, it’s heartbreaking,’ and later added, ‘All that you’ve tirelessly built up…’

In a soothing diversion, her little one occasionally patted her face, causing her to grin. She concluded the video with a chuckle, saying “Thank you.

In a different video, I reassured everyone that my family and I are secure, albeit with a heavy heart, as I also shared the unfortunate news of losing our home.

Spencer attempted to cheer himself up on Wednesday with some bagels. 

On Tuesday, the former resident who witnessed the fire approaching his house expressed shock and acknowledged that his video portrayal seemed rather unsettled.

‘If both your home and your parents’ home get burned down, leaving us with nothing, there might be just one thing capable of offering some comfort – a bag full of bagels,’ he said cheerfully.
