Heidi Klum, known for her incredible Halloween costumes, has finally shared this year’s look after building anticipation for weeks.
Every year, the 52-year-old supermodel gets her fans excited as she prepares for October 31st, finally revealing her elaborate costume.
She’s had some creative Halloween costumes over the years, including E.T., a giant worm, Betty Boop, Fiona from Shrek, and even a version of herself as a 95-year-old!
Earlier this month, she announced she was collaborating with makeup artist Mike Marino – known for his work transforming Colin Farrell into The Penguin – to create a new appearance.
Heidi recently revealed her elaborate Halloween costume: a stunning Medusa look at her 24th annual Halloween party.
Her portrayal of the Greek myth character seemed to be inspired by the 1981 film, Clash of the Titans.

Similar to the Medusa from the 1980s film, Heidi’s version of the mythical creature wields a bow and arrow and has a long, worm-like tail instead of legs—a departure from how Medusa is usually portrayed.
Okay, so at the event, I spotted Heidi Klum with her husband, Tom Kaulitz. He really committed to the theme! He dressed up as one of the unfortunate companions of Perseus – you know, the ones Medusa turns to stone if they look at her? It was a pretty clever costume, honestly.
As a lifelong fan of classic monster movies, I was absolutely captivated by Medusa in Clash of the Titans. What many people don’t realize is she wasn’t created with modern CGI – she was a physical puppet! A truly incredible puppet, actually, brought to life by Ray Harryhausen, a legend in the field. He was the guy who even worked on the original King Kong way back in 1933 – a real pioneer!
Heidi’s costume was a stunning tribute to Ray Harryhausen’s creations, meticulously crafted with incredible detail – from the shine of the scales and the realistic folds of skin, to each segment of the worm’s tail.
Heidi’s appearance was updated with a few details not seen in the film. Her hair was styled to look messy and intertwined with snakes, echoing Medusa’s snakes, and her bow was designed to look like a serpent.
Okay, so last Halloween, I saw Heidi Klum and her husband pull off an amazing costume! They both went as E.T., but each did a totally different version of the character from Steven Spielberg’s classic movie. It was a really creative and fun take on a beloved film!
Tom resembled an alien when he first arrived on Earth, appearing completely exposed. Heidi, on the other hand, looked like an alien only after being dressed up in a wig, makeup, and accessories by some children.
A year before, she transformed into a peacock, and needed nine acrobats to create the illusion of its feathers and claws.

Heidi is well-known for her elaborate costumes, and she goes to great lengths to create them. For example, she once spent ten hours getting prosthetic makeup and body modifications to transform herself into a giant rainworm.
She started this annual event in 2000, famously appearing in tight-fitting black leather clothing that had a provocative and edgy style.
She’s known for her incredibly creative and bold costumes, having dressed up as characters like Fiona from Shrek, a scary alien, and even Michael Jackson’s werewolf from the ‘Thriller’ music video.
She finds inspiration in a wide range of sources, including classic cartoon characters like Betty Boop and Jessica Rabbit, historical figures like Lady Godiva and Cleopatra, and elements of Hindu mythology.
Just over ten years ago, she famously disguised herself as a younger version of herself for her 95th birthday. She transformed so convincingly that, as she explained to the New York Post, people didn’t recognize her, and she nearly had to prove she belonged at her own party!

Heidi admitted she’s had a few costume problems in the past, like the time she dressed as the forbidden fruit from the Garden of Eden.
She shared a funny story about her pregnancy: when she was nine months along, she worried about protecting her baby bump, so she jokingly dressed up in an apple costume.
The issue was my size – I was too big to fit in a regular car. I had to quickly rent a convertible just to be able to get to the party.
She explained that she was in a difficult situation – she couldn’t reach her mouth to drink or even sit comfortably. She admitted she hadn’t considered the practicalities of it beforehand and it wasn’t enjoyable.
