Heidi Klum and Tom Kaulitz were seen holding hands while enjoying a romantic walk in New York City on Wednesday, despite the chilly weather.

The 52-year-old German supermodel looked stylish and relaxed in a black fur coat while enjoying a winter walk with her husband, 36-year-old musician from the band Tokio Hotel.

Heidi wore a black dress that showed off her figure, adding a coat and black leather boots to complete her look.

To complete her look, the model opted for a simple and understated style, wearing a black ribbed beanie and oversized, dark sunglasses.

Tom showcased his style in a beige jumper, grey trousers and a colourful Jaquard jacket.

This chilly trip is quite a change from their recent vacation, where Heidi and Tom were photographed showing off their affection while enjoying the sunshine in St. Barts.

I always say, a vacation is the perfect time to embrace feeling good in your own skin! I spotted Heidi and her partner having a blast in the ocean, just playfully walking and enjoying the waves together – it was such a sweet and carefree moment, and a lovely way to connect!

After a quick swim, the couple relaxed on the beach, sunbathing on their Gucci towel.

People first noticed a romantic connection between the former Project Runway contestant and the guitarist in March 2018, when they were photographed kissing after a Lorraine Schwartz event.

Their relationship quickly intensified, and by December 2018, Tom proposed.

They got married in a small, private ceremony just seven months after meeting, and then had a big wedding celebration in August 2019 on the island of Capri in Italy.

Following their wedding, Tom took on the role of stepfather, joining Heidi in raising her children.

Heidi has four children: a daughter named Leni with her previous partner, Flavio Briatore, and three sons – Henry (20), Johan (19), and Lou (16) – with her ex-husband, Seal. She and Seal were married from 2005 until 2014.

While they were married, Seal adopted Heidi Klum’s daughter, Leni, who is now 21. Leni was only five years old at the time of the adoption.

Heidi and Tom recently enjoyed a winter walk in Manhattan, a moment that comes two years after Heidi publicly stated she has no regrets about posting revealing photos of herself.

She also said that there’s a ‘strategy’ behind her love for showcasing her figure.

She shared with People magazine in 2023 that she felt so comfortable in her own skin that her kids sometimes had to remind her to get dressed when guests were expected. They’d say something like, ‘Mom, a friend is coming over!”

Look, I’m a huge Heidi Klum fan, and she just gets it, you know? She explained that the moment she knows someone’s about to walk in, she immediately puts on a top. But if she’s completely alone and enjoying some sunshine, she’s all about embracing the freedom – ‘suns out, buns out,’ as she so perfectly put it! It’s just her being real and comfortable in her own skin, and I love it.

Okay, so this is super important to me, and people don’t get it! I’m constantly changing outfits, you know? Like, one minute I’m in a halter top, the next a tank top, then something strapless! I absolutely cannot have weird tan lines from straps ruining my look. It’s a whole thing, a really carefully planned thing, honestly. I have to be strategic about it!
