Heather & Tarek: Still Divided on Baby No. 2 After Therapy
Despite having undergone couples therapy for over five months, Heather Rae El Moussa and her spouse, Tarek El Moussa, remain undecided about welcoming another child into their family.
In her mid-thirties, the founder of Heather Rae Essentials acknowledges that she is somewhat advanced in age, and as such, she feels the pressure of a ticking clock regarding the storage of an embryo from her recent IVF procedure.
Heather shared with Us Weekly on Wednesday that she believes it’s normal for a woman to begin considering such a choice: Will this move benefit our family, or are we already content?
Discussing the possibility of having another child. I’m open to it, but Tarek seems content with our current family size, and I believe he genuinely feels complete. It’s an experience many couples face.
In the course of undergoing IVF treatment, El Moussa (formerly known as Young), welcomed his first child, a two-year-old son named Tristan Jay El Moussa, in a natural birth.
Regarding discussing another child, that’s merely one aspect. However, it’s important to understand that this isn’t the reason for our therapy sessions, as the Anaheim native pointed out.
Heather expressed her belief that they should have begun therapy prior to their 2021 wedding, primarily to improve their communication skills.
On the Scrubbing In podcast episode from March 27th, El Moussa disclosed that they attend couples therapy sessions at least every two weeks.
The individual mentioned they will be 38 years old this year, implying that it feels like a significant moment, not necessarily because one can’t have children at an older age, but because they prefer not to be in their forties while still having babies due to the added challenges it might bring.
“This task consumes a considerable amount of your time and energy, even shaping a significant part of your life. However, my children are my top concern, so I feel compelled to take on this challenge. Regaining my physical well-being is what I desire, and it’s been a prolonged process that hasn’t been easy.
43-year-old TV show host from Flipping 101 has two older kids – a son named Brayden who’s 9 and a daughter Taylor who’s 14. He had these children during his seven-year marriage with Christina Haack, which ended harmoniously in 2018.
30th of April found me, an ardent fan, witnessing the heartwarming reunion of Tarek and his 41-year-old former spouse, Heather, at a ‘For Your Consideration’ event for their captivating HGTV reality show, The Flip Off. This unforgettable gathering took place in the elegant confines of the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood.
In the summer of 2019, the El Moussas first crossed paths while out on a fishing excursion, and since then, they have been happily wed for more than three years.
This week, on HGTV, the unbreakable duo continues their joint acting role in the second series of The Flipping El Moussas. Their performances will conclude and bring the season to a close this Thursday.
Heather, with a massive following of around 3.8 million on TikTok and Instagram, is undeniably an influential figure. She has partnership deals with various brands such as Skye Performance Golf Carts, Anaheim Tourism, State Farm Insurance, and Orgain.
