Heather Locklear celebrates 63rd birthday at Thousand Oaks ice-cream shop – ahead of her acting comeback in Lifetime movie about Ruby Franke
As a dedicated follower of Hollywood’s rollercoaster ride, I can’t help but feel a mix of emotions when I see Heather Locklear enjoying her 63rd birthday with ice cream and her beloved dog Mister. Her life has been a whirlwind of ups and downs, from her iconic roles in Melrose Place and Dynasty to her well-documented battles with substance abuse and mental health issues.
On Wednesday, Heather Locklear began celebrating her 63rd birthday by enjoying an ice cream at the Little Calf Creamery & Cafe, a place not too distant from her residence worth $2 million in Thousand Oaks.
At an ice cream parlor, a former star of Melrose Place (who happened to be carrying two iPhones) was accompanied by one of her most cherished female friends and her pet dog, affectionately known as Mister.
At the That’s 4 Entertainment’s 90s Convention held from September 14-15, Heather radiated joy as she donned a sleek black V-neck Adidas top, coordinating leggings, and trendy Nike shoes.
On October 4th, I’ll be joyfully celebrating the 27th birthday of my beloved daughter, Ava Elizabeth Sambora. Her February 12th engagement to Tyler Farrar, an investment associate, was undeniably one of the most delightful moments in my life, second only to the day she was born.
On Instagram, the six-time Golden Globe nominee excitedly posted, ‘The day of her birth was the first! What a delightful duo they make. My heartfelt congratulations to them!’
Heather gave birth to her sole offspring while married to the guitarist from Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, a union that lasted for eleven years and concluded in 2007.
Ava achieved her Master of Science in marriage and family therapy at USC last year after earning her Bachelor’s of Arts in psychology at Loyola Marymount University in 2020.
Actress Locklear is preparing to re-enter the acting scene as troubled counselor Jodi Hildebrandt, joining Emilie Ullerup in Kevin Fair’s drama titled “Mormon Mom Gone Wrong: The Ruby Franke Story.” This captivating series will debut on Lifetime on October 26.
56-year-old ex-beauty queen and 42-year-old YouTube personality known for their 8 Passengers channel, were found to espouse a controversial parenting approach that later revealed as severe abuse towards Ruby’s two underage kids, aged eight and twelve, who appeared malnourished.
Previously, Hildebrandt admitted guilt for four charges of severe child abuse, classified as felonies, on December 27. As a result, he received four prison sentences, each ranging from one to fifteen years, to be served consecutively in the Utah State Penitentiary.
This Dynasty veteran has been out of acting roles since playing author Kristine Carlson in “Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff: The Kristine Carlson Story,” which premiered on Lifetime in 2021.
Heather, known for multiple stints in rehabilitation facilities (around twenty), seems to be maintaining a law-abiding lifestyle after her extensively publicized struggles with substance addiction, mental health problems, and legal troubles related to domestic violence and battery spanning from 2006 to 2019.
In the year 2019, Locklear admitted guilt without contesting it for eight lesser charges: five instances of assaulting a peace officer, one instance of assaulting an emergency medical worker, and two cases of hindering, impeding, or delaying a peace officer.
Originally from Southern California, the individual was mandated to spend 30 days at a mental health institution for residential treatment. Their 120-day prison term was held in abeyance (postponed).
