Heather Graham shares intimate confession about relationship with Heath Ledger

Heather Graham recently shared a personal story about her past relationship with the late Heath Ledger.

Heather Locklear, 55, shared that she was deeply in love with the late Heath Ledger, whom she dated from 2000 to 2001.

Heather shared on the ‘Are You A Charlotte?’ podcast that she was deeply in love with him when they were together, describing him as truly remarkable.

She then admitted she missed talking to the Perth-born actor and wished he was still alive.

She shared that she has lovely photos from when they were together, and she’s happy she had the chance to date him – they had a lot of fun. She expressed a wish he were still here, adding sadly that some people, like bright stars, don’t live long lives.

Podcast host Kristin Davis added the pair always seemed so happy together.

‘At the time, you two were just this ray of light in this Coffee Bean,’ she said. 

‘You were kind of giggly and touching each other… You were cute.’

They first met in Prague in 2000 while working on separate film projects and quickly connected.

In February 2021, Heather also reflected on her short time with Heath. 

She shared some unseen photos of their year-long relationship and called him a ‘special person’. 

She shared these photos, reminiscing about a special time and remembering Heath as a wonderful person.

The trio of photos provided a more intimate look at the pair’s relationship. 

In a single moment, Heather was captured with her arms around his neck, resting her head on his shoulder.

She also shared a mirror selfie of the Australian actor, showing him shirtless and taking the photo with a film camera.

Their passionate romance didn’t last long, and the rising Hollywood star soon began dating Naomi Watts after they met while filming the Australian movie, Ned Kelly.

Two years after that, he began a relationship with another colleague, Michelle Williams, whom he met while filming Brokeback Mountain.

They welcomed their daughter, Matilda, in 2005. As he explained to the London Observer, they quickly became very close, and their connection was physical as much as emotional. He also shared that he’d always imagined becoming a father at a young age.

They were together as a couple until 2007. After their split, Heath struggled with personal issues and sadly passed away just five months later.

Actor Heath Ledger was found dead in a New York City apartment on January 22, 2008, due to an accidental overdose. This happened after he had been suffering from significant physical and emotional strain for several months.
