Heated Rivalry’s Hudson Williams lands major new role with Dylan O’Brien

Hudson Williams, known for his role in Heated Rivalry, will star in a new thriller called Apparatus alongside Dylan O’Brien of Twinless. Williams plays Tyler, a rideshare driver down on his luck, in the darkly comedic film.

Tyler gets involved with JP, an entrepreneur portrayed by O’Brien, who promises him a chance to work in his handheld massager business.

Tyler quickly discovers that what seemed like a perfect chance is actually a nightmare, and he’s dragged into a dangerous and destructive situation by JP.

According to Deadline, the movie will be the first film directed by Canadian actor Sofia Banzhaf, who is known for her work in I Am in the World as Free and Slender as a Deer on a Plain. Banzhaf co-wrote the screenplay with Grayson Moore.

Actor Williams became well-known for his role alongside Connor Storrie in the popular HBO series Heated Rivalry, a romantic story centered around hockey and the LGBTQ+ community. The show has been picked up for another season.
