Hudson Williams, known for his role in Heated Rivalry, will star in a new thriller called Apparatus alongside Dylan O’Brien of Twinless. Williams plays Tyler, a rideshare driver down on his luck, in the darkly comedic film.
Tyler gets involved with JP, an entrepreneur portrayed by O’Brien, who promises him a chance to work in his handheld massager business.
Tyler quickly discovers that what seemed like a perfect chance is actually a nightmare, and he’s dragged into a dangerous and destructive situation by JP.

According to Deadline, the movie will be the first film directed by Canadian actor Sofia Banzhaf, who is known for her work in I Am in the World as Free and Slender as a Deer on a Plain. Banzhaf co-wrote the screenplay with Grayson Moore.
Actor Williams became well-known for his role alongside Connor Storrie in the popular HBO series Heated Rivalry, a romantic story centered around hockey and the LGBTQ+ community. The show has been picked up for another season.

Rising star Storrie has been cast in the lead role of the new A24 comedy, Peaked. Molly Gordon not only directs the film but also stars in it and co-wrote the screenplay with Allie Levitan, who also appears in the movie.
The film also stars Emma Mackey, Simone Ashley, Laura Dern, Levon Hawke, Mitra Jouhari, and Gabby Windey.
As reported by Deadline, details about the story and Storrie’s character are currently being kept secret. However, the project is known to be set around a high school reunion and will focus on two former popular students attempting to recapture their youth.

O’Brien recently appeared in the horror film Send Help, directed by Sam Raimi. She starred alongside Rachel McAdams as coworkers who find themselves stranded on a deserted island after their plane crashes.
Director Sam Raimi explained that actor Bruce Campbell (O’Brien) was the driving force behind taking his character to its limits, and Raimi admitted he was worried about how far Campbell would go.
I’d tell him, ‘Dylan, we need to revisit this. Remember our discussion in the second act? We planned for the audience to connect with you and gradually disconnect from her, and if you push things too far…’
