Hearthstone revisits Un’Goro and reimagines it with 145 new cards.

In Hearthstone, the latest addition to the game world, called Lost City of Un’Goro, has been made available! This update brings in a new attribute known as Kindred, quests, maps, and story cards, along with an entirely novel Tavern Pass. Here’s what you can find upon logging into Hearthstone right now!

Lost City of Un’Goro now live

The expansion for The Lost City of Un’Goro debuted on July 8, bringing a wealth of fresh content including cards that feature the Kindred attribute. Some examples of these cards are Slagclaw, Ravasaur Matriarch, Ambush Predators, and Gravedawn Voidbulb. In Hearthstone, having the Kindred keyword means you’ll receive benefits if you play a similar minion type or spell school on your last turn.

Quest, map, and story cards in new Hearthstone expansion

Regarding the freshly introduced quest cards, examples of them are “The Food Chain” and “The Forbidden Sequence”. These quest cards function as unique one-mana spells that initially reside within a player’s hand. Once a quest is completed, substantial rewards follow, like summoning Shook, Jungle Tyrant or The Origin Stone.

Following this, the map cards align with the overall Lost City of Un’Goro theme. These cards primarily revolve around the Discover mechanic, boasting six map cards in the latest release. These are: Crypt Map (for Death Knight), Hive Map (for Demon Hunter), Odd Map (for Hunter), Mountain Map (for Shaman), Submerged Map (for Paladin), and Cultist Map (for Rogue).

As a dedicated gamer, I’m referring to the revamped cards reminiscent of Hearthstone’s original Un’Goro-themed expansion. Do you recall Open the Waygate from Journey to Un’Goro’s set back in 2017? The updated version is now known as Story of the Waygate! Another fresh card I’ve come across is Story of Barnabus, a tribute to the iconic character, Barnabus the Stomper.

Hearthstone patch features Lost City of Un’Goro event

Apart from the introduction of a fresh Tavern Pass brimming with rewards that players can acquire in the Un’Goro Lost City, the recent Hearthstone update also offers an in-game event. From July 8 to July 29, players have the option to pick Brann, Finley, or Reno to embark on an exciting journey. The event rewards include numerous card packs and unique hero portraits for these three characters.
