Hearthstone Across the Timeways release date
The latest Hearthstone expansion, Across the Timeways, became available worldwide on November 4th. Before the official release, players had a chance to try it out in a special in-game event called the Pre-Release Tavern Brawl. A select group of players also participated in a theorycrafting event where they built and demonstrated decks using the new cards.

Fabled cards enter Hearthstone
Now, anyone can build decks using the new Across the Timeways cards and compete in ranked Hearthstone. Keep an eye out for the powerful Fabled minions – each class has its own unique one, and they’re supported by a set of related cards. For instance, the Rogue class’s Fabled minion, Garona Halforcen, works well with cards like King Llane and The Kingslayers.
The Hearthstone team recently gave Xpsp a sneak peek into how they designed one of their new Fabled cards.
As a fan, I’m really excited about the new Garona card! The designers told me they specifically wanted to create a scenario where she’s hunting King Llane, and the new ‘Fabled’ cards let them do just that. Normally, you couldn’t guarantee your opponent would have Llane in their deck, making that kind of focused gameplay impossible. But with the Fabled bundle, they can ensure Llane is there, letting Garona actually pursue him. They think it’ll be a really fun and rewarding experience for players to try and make that happen, and I totally agree – it sounds awesome!
All of the Fabled cards and their extras can be found via the game’s official card library.

How Rewind works in Hearthstone
The ‘Rewind’ keyword is a new feature in the ‘Across the Timeways’ expansion. When you play a card with ‘Rewind’, you see what happens, and then you can choose to either keep the result or ‘Rewind’ the card and try again for a different outcome. For example, playing the ‘Semi-Stable Portal’ card might first give you a Wisp, but if you choose ‘Rewind’, you could instead get a much stronger minion like Ragnaros the Firelord.

New Hearthstone location cards
Across the Timeways introduces new location cards that let players experience famous places from Azeroth at different points in time. You can see locations like Silvermoon as it once was, after the devastating attack by Arthas, and even a possible future where the land begins to recover. Other interesting locations include Gnomeregan and the Temporal Conflux.

Across the Timeways Tavern Pass
Each new Hearthstone expansion includes a Tavern Pass, and the one for Across the Timeways is no different! It’s packed with rewards like XP boosts, card packs, and cosmetic items. You can find a complete list of everything included in the Pass on the Battle.net shop.
