It’s vacation time.
The new Hearthstone expansion, Perils in Paradise, has been released! Here’s what you need to know.
Hearthstone Perils in Paradise release date
On July 23, 2024, The Perils in Paradise expansion was released. This addition brought about 145 fresh cards, introduced the Tourist mechanism, featured Locations and Drinks, and included a new Tavern Pass.

How the Tourist keyword works in Hearthstone
With the introduction of the new keyword, Tourist, players now have the ability to utilize cards from other classes. For instance, the Mage class’ legendary Tourist card is named Raylla, Sand Sculptor. By playing this minion, Mage players are granted access to the Paladin class’ features. Similarly, the Demon Hunter class can delve into some Priest-related strategies with Aranna, Thrill Seeker as their legendary Tourist card.

During the process of creating your deck, include your class’s Tourist card, and you have the ability to add cards from the opposing class’s Perils in Paradise set as well, according to Blizzard. However, keep in mind that each deck can only contain one instance of the Tourist card – no jumping between vacations.
