Testimonies claim that the former One Direction member, aged 31, fell from his hotel room at the CasaSur Palermo around 5 PM on a Wednesday afternoon.

Since his sudden passing, a large gathering of passionate admirers has assembled to honor the young pop sensation with heartfelt tributes.

Mourners have been seen lighting candles as a vigil is held for the father-of-one.  

Fans were seen embracing each other as they cried, while others stood behind police tape.

A paramedic vehicle departed carrying Payne’s remains, while spectators looked on. The inquiry into his demise at the age of 31 is still active.

City ambulance service representative Alberto Crescenti reported that he had fallen approximately 40 meters, resulting in critical injuries beyond recovery.

The alarm went off at 5:04 pm local time, indicating that someone was found on the inner courtyard of Casa Sur.

‘At 5.11pm an ambulance arrived and the man was certified dead.

Later on, we discovered that he was a well-known musician. Regrettably, the damages from his fall were severe enough to cause his death, and there was no chance for reviving him.

Before his unexpected death, the singer of Strip Me Down posted some eerie messages on social media with his partner, Kate Cassidy.

The latest Snapchat post from the member of One Direction depicted him smiling alongside his partner, both in swimwear, as they gazed at their reflection – a photo that Cassidy had shared last year on his 30th birthday.

In the remaining days of his stellar existence, subsequent updates displayed him savoring a leisurely breakfast in his accommodation, during which he divulged that they typically woke up at 1 PM daily and planned to dress up as Forrest Gump for Halloween.

In a casual and straightforward rephrasing, He recorded a video of himself having breakfast with Cassidy, and they both laughed as he teased her for forgetting her hat on the table.

Another tragic selfie captioned: ‘Lovely day in Argentina’ before the star shared a photo of his hotel, writing: ‘Happy I got some time away’ followed by a heart emoji.

Payne shared a further image with Cassidy captioned: ‘Quality time.’ 

Despite the couple jetting away together to South America, Cassidy returned home on October 14 with the singer reportedly checking into Casa Sur alone.
