Wales Interactive, the team behind games like Ten Dates, has announced its latest project: Heart of the Forest, a psychological horror adventure. Developed by Trapped Predator, this indie game draws inspiration from the folklore of Germany’s Black Forest and will be available on mobile, PC, and consoles starting February 12th.

I’ll admit, I’m easily scared, but I couldn’t resist checking out the psychological horror game, Heart of the Forest. It’s about a group of students whose hiking trip in the Black Forest goes wrong when they encounter a vengeful spirit. How they survive depends entirely on the decisions you make while playing.

In this game, you’ll lead the characters through a terrifying experience where the forest forces them to face their biggest fears and deal with past traumas. Your main goals are to keep them alive and resist the forest’s evil influence – don’t give in to its dark powers!

What really stood out to me was the way the story shifts between different characters, allowing us to see and understand events from various perspectives. The game seems incredibly promising overall, with its high production values, use of real actors, and a story rooted in German folklore. I’m hoping the final product delivers on all this potential.
