The TV show based on Rachel Reid’s Game Changers books quickly became popular on streaming platforms. It was renewed for a second season even before the first season finished airing. Now that Season 1 is complete, creator Jacob Tierney has shared with Entertainment Weekly when fans can expect Heated Rivalry Season 2.

As a huge fan, I was really hoping to hear a firm return date, but the creator has said it’s going to be a bit of a wait. They don’t think we’ll be seeing it back in 2026, but it shouldn’t be too long after that. They’re aiming to move quickly, but they also want to make sure the quality is top-notch, and I appreciate that! It sounds like we’re looking at less than a year and a half, which is good news, even if it’s not immediate.
